Nice, I can't wait! Just so you know, I haven't written much music lately, and whenever I open Music Creator it feels like going back in time... But if you need any advice, I can help.
Good luck with the animation also!

Well, it's turning out to be around 25 seconds of hand-animated stuff then we can switch to gameplay videos then back to some hand-animated stuff to end it. ... ... ... LOL. Hand-animated.

You have to remember that animated stuff will clash badly with gameplay. This didn't happen in original SSB games.

Then how do we animate sprites of master hand and crazy hand playing with dolls?
And keep in mind how much stuff clashes already.

Then how do we make the intro? We've gotta clash somewhere.

This is a problem.
Intro would need a smooth transition.

If the intro is OBVIOUSLY hand-drawn, clashing should be no issue. Know what I mean?

Not exactly... I was thinking it would be some flash-animation of the hands playing with the dolls, then after crazy hand declares war it goes to gameplay and then ends with some more awesome animation.

No, that would work great. What I'm saying is that if the intro is in an obviously different style from the rest of the game, it won't matter whether it "clashes".

Ah. That makes sense. So yeah. Might start working on that this week. Maybe. The gameplay footage should probably be rival battles and whatnot.

Cool. Maybe, just MAYBE, I'll upload something of Dark Link, Metal Mario, or even Master Hand for the intro.

Well, I finished the song and made some annotations to show what's going on during each part, but youtube's being a piece of crap and decided to do some stupid maintenance and won't let me upload at the moment. It should be up within a half hour. Hopefully. Just a warning, this was my first time using the program, so: 1. This was mainly just me experimenting and seeing what I could do with the program. 2. It's really just the most basic part of the tune, there's other stuff that needs to be added that someone else would probably have to do.
EDIT: Finally. Took 15 minutes to process.
So yeah. 1:25 doesn't sound like a bad length, huh?

lol What program is this? I think I can hear the SSBC theme somewhere in there.... I'd be willing to help if you could send me a .mid file to work with.

PXtone. Made by the guy who made cave story, its what's used for the game's tracks. Good job! The battle to end sounds kind of off, but I'm sure the point was crossed. Also, wait, a .mid file? YESH! CRUSADE'S THEME CAN RECEIVE SHEET MUSIC!

Like I said, I only made the basic tune. That's in no way, shape, or form how I expect it to come out, besides the tune. I just took the triangle sound file and used that the whole way through besides the drum-like parts. And yes, that was my crappy rendition of the Crusade theme in there, when the video says "GAME CLIPS". And I'm actually not sure if I can export to a MIDI. I probably could. I'll PM you if I manage to. EDIT: Ok, I can export it as a .pttune or a .wav. Neither of which I think would be very helpful.

Sorry to be a bit off-topic, but if you want your videos to upload faster, convert them to a .flv file, so Youtube doesn't have to. Makes uploading videos a lot faster.
Anyway, it sounds pretty cool... for just being a single note and drums. lol

No, YouTube was doing site maintenance, so they uploaded it but wouldn't allow it to finish processing until they were done. The uploading only took a couple seconds.

Bumping with some questions directed to Falcon and/or Phantom (input from both would be nice): What character do you want Master Hand and Crazy Hand to fight over? What characters should be taken out of the toy box, and in what order (if any)? Battles between which rivals should be shown?
