No, if I remember correctly, Porky stole an invention from Dr. Andonuts. He was mentioned, but doesn't actually appear, I don't think.

No. But at the same time, Dedede never used a mechanized hammer prior to Brawl, Captain Falcon never used Falcon Punch or Falcon Kick, etc. But here's some artwork of what Smashking and I are talking about:   |

Possibly, I dunno.
But I guess Spider Backpack could work, considering that it would give Porky moves from his mech-thing without having to be in his mech. Very plausible idea, since Fox, Falco, Wolf, and C. Falcon had moves based on their vehicles as well.

I know the StarFox crew were based on vehicles, but how was Captain Falcon based on his? He can boost forwards (Falcon KICK, Falcon whatever side B is called), ram into opponents (Falcon Punch, perhaps Up Special), and run/drive very fast, all of which his Blue Falcon can do. |
