Everything else was practically done by someone else.
I do like how you got the Zapper is made, it looks nice.

True, they are from a different sprite sheet. Only thing I did is put some of them in order to create one whole animation. But the maker of the sprite sheet gave me permission to do what I want with it. here is the link of the sprite sheet. championfeatures.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d1ynwu5The Zapper is the only thing I actually made custom. Also custom his hand to grip it. Thanks. Though he is not on the roster, i wish, i decide to work on him anyways. I'm pretty novice on spriting, so this is a practice.

Besides the ever-required shading, the new animations are good, especially the dodge and hurt, al though the hurt pose is kind off weird.
The idle has no style at all, so I suggest that you replace it with something more dynamic.
The ness zapper most likley requires a few more frames, namely between 1 and 2, as well between 3 and 4. The pose is kinda awkard, too.
The run seems to be awkard, but I'll have to animate.
The up b is very good so far.
Try looking up shading tutorials and attemp to shade.

Well, I think he's trying to avoid shading because DHD is an NES character, which uses little shading.

Did Game & Watch ever have a real design? No, he was a black stickman. You can't really "update" that. Characters on the Nintendo Entertainment System HAD a design, albeit pretty simple ones, to update and make them look real nice. Plus, it'd really break my heart to see G&W not be the only NES-ish fighter on the battlefield anymore.

Thanks guys ;D
Actually, I do plan on shading (or possibly let someone else do that instead since Im not good at that), probably do it last once I get all the frames altogether. So I might do the shading last or lend the sprites to someone else to do it.
As for the hurt, I was going to put a different hurt for it, but I thought the foot grab while hopping on one foot would be more funny to see. But if you guys suggest changing it, I dont mind.
About the NES Zapper. Which of the positions look awkward? Should I change it?
The Idle I can change, though what suggestions you have in mind? Is the position odd or should he stand on four legs?
If you guys want, I can post up the Duck Hunt Dog sprite sheet I am editing so you can give suggestions on what frames to use to make a complete animation

The last 2 aniations are kinda awkard, especially the left leg's (our ppint of view) placement. Try to edit it basing it on how you would stand, if shooting.
I think he should stand on his 2 feet in the idle, but hunched.
And, yes, post the sprite sheet.

That sprite sheet isn't usable, everything is shrunk down. Unless you're preventing the full-size from being stolen by posting it shrunk-down.

Hmmmm.....didn't really bother to think if anyone would steal it, especially since its still unfinished. I will say this though, even though it is made to be used for Crusade, I don't mind making a deal to borrow it with SSF2 & SSBClash (since they both plan to have Duck Hunt Dog as Expansion), As for the entire sheet thats saved on my computer, it is 827 X 2250 by Dimension & the size is 113 KB. The sheet that is posted here is 1600 X 1200 (21 inch monitor) by Iaza. Also, here is something that is confusing me. I pasted a couple of Crusade characters on one sheet and try to compare size with Duck Hunt Dog. And this is what I get. It is very odd that most of them are very different sizes when you open the files, yet in the game they are a fair size. Is there a reason it is like this?

They are resized in Game Maker. To not have Iaza do that, click on the image after you've uploaded it. It'll open it full-size in a new window.

Actually my mistake. It wasn't Iaza, it was ImageShack.
But yea, didn't know Game Maker did that.
