But with no NES graphics. I personally don't like NES mixed with modern sprites/graphics.

I'll repeat what I said on my thread: Mario Bros stage from Brawl. 3D platforms, 2D everything else.
But I'll add a little something so i'm not just spamming or repeating: The lower left column will probably be background instead of a solid object. And yes, the score should be background also.
What do you have against NES style sprites? Without this game and R.O.B., we wouldn't have nintendo. Show a bit of respect for the classic classic.

I don't have anything against the game, ROB, or NES. Don't make assumptions. I'm against having NES sprites with modern sprites. IMO, they clash too much.

I sort of agree, but already, there are many clashes.

Why add to the problem?
But hey, it's just my opinion. Do whatever you feel is best.

Well, how would it look if it wasn't NES style? There's not a remake in existence, and there's no high-resolution images to base stuff like the Smicks off of. I'm gonna wait for a dev to comment before I change stuff anyways.

What about a Bomberman stage or a street fighter stage? I've tried to hack Bomberman's stage into the Brawl. The design. A better idea, anybody?

This one would be a better idea on how the stage should be made, but also add in the blocks, but they will be in the background

This one would be a better idea on how the stage should be made, but also add in the blocks, but they will be in the background Yes, without blocks it wouldn't really be a genuine Bomberman stage.

I agree. Who wants to sprite the Bomberman stage? Also, to decide on the Street Fighter stage, lets think of which is the most recurring or common stage in the series.

I don't think that we want a SF stage. Do we really want another Final Destination?

I like the 3rd or 4th one, one of the very few stages I remember from Street Fighter most. And as far as the stage, it wont be like Final Destination since the stage wont have ledges and you cant KO from under the stage. This stage can be similar to FlatZone.
