The sprites are great. How long did it take you to make that? As for the animation, it seems a bit slow, and should be made faster. I also believe that their head bobs up and down while moving.

This is for the Ancient Minister?
I think that he'd be a bit slower than R.O.B. Like Samus and ZSS.

DGN: Took me an hour or two for the large one, significantly less to make the base of the smaller one, and another hour and a half or so to make the other frames in the idle because I had to redraw the shadow bug tail every time. @maiz: The idle I posted is what I plan to use as the idle of an uncharged D-Special primid, which will still be able to use its attacks from the SSE. And yes, he probably should be a bit slower (possibly ever-so-slightly heavier as well). And in case people missed them since they're at the bottom of the previous page: and EDIT: Finished the recolor palettes for the Fire Primid and Metal Primid, made the palette for the Sword Primid's beam sword, and made a preview. Boom Primid is up next, but I'm having difficulty getting the boomerang right. I might just leave him out just to save some trouble. Also, anyone think it would be fun to have each Primid use a different face? Go here for the different faces a Primid can have.

This should be better. I doubled the speed. Although I feel like it's too fast now.

I certainly like it.
I, personally, LOVE the idea of summoning. Adds so much depth to his gameplay.

Not to go off topic but how do you make sprites animate like that

I use a program called Falco Gif Animator. It's free to download.

Wait, you use Falco? I have that, but I can't seem to get it to work. You basically have to download an animating program(Gif construction set professional, for one) and use it to put all the sprites in the order then animate i.

If you can't get it to work... urdoinitrong. It shouldn't be difficult at all to figure it out. Paste one frame of the animation into the first frame in Falco, then create a new frame and paste the second one in, then repeat until you're finished. The right sidebar can be used to alter the speed of the animation and the palette. I thought it was extremely simple.

Started editing a R.O.B. spritesheet so we have a full one to use. Here's what I've made in the last hour or so: Mostly just a bunch of random frames and animations that came to mind first when looking at the sheet. Here's the sheet I'm editing: The Minister will be... eventually...

I think it would be better if the base was bigger.

I actually like that sheet better than any other ROB sheet I've seen so far. I say let's keep it.
