I am not really biased either way when it comes to having Doc in the game. He would be fun, but he'll most likely take a back seat to the newcomers.

But would he be considered a newcomer? He'd be considered a veteran, no? Besides, having Doc would be more of a novelty of including an old favorite than anything else. Doc doesn't really bring much to the table, but at the same time, he is pretty cool.
If that made any sense.

And with Doc being an Alt. Select, he doesn't take roster space, as he isn't counted as a seperate character. Like Evil Ryu.

True that. The devs can keep all the characters in their current precious "roster", while the fans get something they want: a returning veteran from melee.

I love you for doing that. He's my fav clone in Melee. Fixed. In Melee, there were clones, non-clones, and Luigi.

Cool beans! You should help us make ground-bounce and lie down animations for the characters too, eh?

Alright, the Doc's "flinch" animation, which I'm assuming is also called their "damage" animation or whatever.

No one likes it? Nah, just kidding. It isn't anything special or something like that. Anywho, here is some random stuff done today. May v1 And updated, May v2 It should be noted that the palette for the second one was stolen borrowed from joshr's May sheet on the Spriter's Resource.

Very nice May sprites. And Doc also. I haven't commented because I've been busy with the family this weekend.

I prefer the second May. Not because I prefer the outfit, but because the face seems less off to me.

I do too, GY, the face is a lot better in the 2nd one IMO. @ ProDaw: Take a look at the flinch animation in Mario's fighter folder if you get the chance... [/lame excuse]
