I don't think they clash, really. They remind me of the quality T. Link and Link have.

Hm, how can I explain my thoughts on that sheet...hm... Well, basically, I'm not fond of the perspective of it, I guess. It's facing to the right, and to the right at all, when I feel that it should be kind of half facing you and half facing the enemy. I dunno. Kinda hard to explain.

Good Sprite Sheet though.

I don't think the clashing's much of a problem. Sure Goku's sprite was a bit "lolwut wrong game?" at first, but people barely notice the difference when they play more than a couple of matches on this game. I think the R.O.B. sprites are great.
So, is R.O.B. definitely keeping the same moves? Because I think, and I hope Detta agrees, that Arm Rotor is a bloody useless move. I've found one practical use for it, and that's with Diffusion Beam in a 4-man free-for-all. It's far too slow to be an effective reflector, if that's what you're thinking.
Last thing, how are you gonna program Gyro? It's an item, it's chargeable, and it's a special move, all rolled into one. It sounds pretty complicated...

Arm Rotor should have knockback rather than just multiple useless hits.

Think of Samus. N-Special is chargeable. D-Special makes an item. Just combine the two. >_>
Arm Rotor is SORT of useless. It can be good for catching people off guard and getting a quick 12% or so in. However, I wouldn't die if it was replaced with something better. Maybe something that has to do with Stack Up.

I actually think Arm Rotor was only in so that they could've had another irl ROB move instead of a SE ROB move. Because ROBs could twist and turn. Or something.
But something for stack up wouldn't really fit a side special....perhaps a stack-up move replaces normal special and the diffusion beam replaces side special? I dunno.... I posted somewhere my thought of a stack up special. You hold down the special button, and the rings are stacked in a speed of a ring right before a second is up. You can stack up to 5 rings, and once you release the button, you push the rings. The more rings there are, the farther the rings go, and the more separated they are. The closer you are to ROB, the more the damage.

I think it should stay Arm Rotor, but just give it slight reverse knockback. Like TL's brawl up special, Pika's dsmash, Pit's jab, etc.

Giving it any knockback at all would be good for Arm Rotor.
I have an idea, because R.O.B. appeared in Mario Kart DS, maybe give him a side special similar to Mach Riders? It'll be hard finding sprites for the karts, but it represents R.O.B. well, it's not a completely original SE ROB move, and plus it'll give him good movement, which he would really want in Crusade.

Um. No. R.O.B.'s appearance in Mario Kart was a cameo in a crossover game. It would make less sense for him to have a Mario Kart related attack than anything in his current moveset. And in any case, the Arm Rotor is based entirely off of the fact that his arms spun around to do stuff as a toy. It's just that they spin much faster in Brawl than they did in real life.

Arm Rotor reflected projectiles, so, unless the new side special would also do that, I'd say no to one.

Just make Arm Rotor more useful.
IIRC Stack-up is going to play a role as his new FS.

Just make Arm Rotor more useful. IIRC Stack-up is going to play a role as his new FS. ROB gets five disks that he can throw at any time, and if one hits it does massive damage and knockback? I dunno. Thats all I got for something with Stack Up.

I was somewhat against using Stack-Up as an FS, but Diffusion Beam would require too much editing. I think DMX's idea was to have R.O.B. grow really large and drop stack-up disks on people. HOWEVER. Besides the Final Smash, we've agreed that his moveset will be identical to Brawl's. So Arm Rotor stays. Also I'm the spriter and, being a R.O.B. main, like him exactly the way he is, despite S-Special being extremely situational.
