Cool beans. If you want some spoilers about him to use, here ya go:
- His sprites are simply all-black versions of Link's sprites.
- He can perform Final Smashes.
- He is slightly faster than Link.
- He cannot use projectile weapons.

I wouldn't call him a black blob. It's more like a darker recolor of the regular Link. He'll be awesome boss to fight against!

But he had a different animation.
If you look on the dojo and go to bosses, you see the difference in animation.

We decided to simply use the black sprites for two reasons.
- It was really easy,
- and it took up less space.
More Dark Link trivia:
- Dark Link has none of his own voices/sound effects.
- Dark Link has a higher CPU level in than other opponents in Classic.

We're simply going to be coloring Link's sprites black in-game to save space. They looked pretty cool though.
