All the new info seems to be dead-on correct, so good job!
0.7 should be out soon, early summer, and 1.0 most likely end of summer to fall.

There is plenty of information here about the game, except one thing: how to get it started. I downloaded the files and extracted them. Now what am I supposed to do?

You see, there was a mess up of putting the downloads and the exe wasn't downloaded.
Go to the Bugs and glitches board and find the thread"I need the exe!" by Basher222.

Generic, how many times must I say this? New users ask for help here. This person is quite obviously a new user.
This does need to be addressed, but I don't want this to become the Download and FAQ thread since Phantom would get mad.

Do me a flavor and remove my name where it says I'll be redoing the animations. I couldnt possibly do it on this piece of crap computer. And all my progress was lost since the other laptop was broken. =x

Yes, we are. Not sure I have the right version of the sheet, but the SSF2 one should work. There may be a small set of changes to a few moves.
