Nights' Ideas after Crusade has its final release

Well after Crusade is done, Falcon said he may release a little open source part of it. I would love to use the games engine and make the same kind of game, Smash Bros, of course. I think I'm going to attempt to make one with anime characters, actually. And yes, yes, I know. Smash Bros and Anime don't mix according to some people, but I believe with enough tinkering it can be done very well. I've been thinking for a long time, and I very well might do it. As of right now, I have a small amount of Stages and Characters thought up.

As of right now... I'm probably looking at 5 Characters and 5 Stages first. To see if I can get programing down. And if Falcon or DMX is up to it, I'd love to get some advice from them. Falcon for Programming tips, and DMX for spriting tips. I'll probably just use ripped sprites to be honest. So it won't match at all. But hey, were used to that by now. Right? Post your thoughts if you'd like, I dont really mind. I'm doing this more for me, myself and I.

A quick thing here, I may be pretty lazy, but when it comes to something I'd relatively enjoy, you can bet your Arse I'd love to learn how to make it happen. And judging by my mindset, no. Its not going to be like... 203948230849 Naruto/Bleach/Onepiece Characters. This is going to span quite a few people. HARDLY anyone from any of those 3 anime. Oh, Kind of Random, but anime games count too I suppose. So I'll see what I can arrange.

Questions comments and other is welcome. Something like "DIS DUMB IDEAR" will be ignored and probably just deleted from my thread. Constructive Critisizm when I release ideas is okay. If you troll or flame in my thread, there will be DIRE consequences. >_>

I'll say my thoughts on the first 5 Characters probably at the end of Sunday. They're probably going to be characters who could test and teach programing while I try to make it happen.

Ok, Konata has to be in as a Lucky Star rep, if not half the rest of the girls. It makes too much sense.
Whatsherface from Angel Beats (the girl with the guitar in Werekill's avvy) and, well, Angel herself, I guess.
Zetsubou Sensei and someone else from SZS... I can think of a lot of people to add.

I was thinking 2 Reps per series. Mebbe 3. Konata is a fer sure in. Kagamine possibly later, Zetsubou was actually running along my mind for a while. His moveset possibilities seem hilariously outrageous. :3 As for angel beats, I dont know. I'll have to watch it first.

Hmm. Ash would be kind of like Pokemon Trainer, and we could mesh pikachu in there. But... His other two pokemon would be...? Were thinking too much into Comedy anime. Dont forget about the Action anime. Though I think I WILL include Narutard and Sauce-****. I like the anime and the games, but I think thats all the reps from there you need. The anime guy may very well be a possibility. Though his moveset makes me think of outrageous moves.
Maybe we can try to get 4 reps from each GENRE of anime?

We could do that. But Zetsu would have to die a bit slower than the opponent just in case its 1x1 stock. :3

I can't think of a whole lot of action anime since I don't watch a huge amount of it.
But there's FMA and Break Blade also.
Not sure if .hack// characters would count since they're originally from games, then get manga adaptations, then anime adaptations if they're unlucky. I think Haseo and Kite/Azure Flame Kite would be cool.

And Zetsubou sensei could be saved by whatshername who always messes up his attempts at committing suicide.

He could, But It'd be an awesome Final Smash without that.... How about, if it hits, He's saved and the opponent isn't, but if you miss, You SD?

I was thinking about that, but the problem is that the characters would be like a Snake of sort. And as for a 2nd character... Its odd. That girl with the sword and the main character would probably be a nice 2. (Sorry I dont know their names, I really dont like the anime XD)

-scratches my nose- The girl from R.O.D might be a possibility, along with Haruhi. Though for Haruhi I have a hard time coming up with a moveset...

As for a stage, I want one to be ontop of Zearth, From bokurano.

And back to Characters, You cant Exclude Goku... He'll be in for sure..Along with Vegeta.

Still nothing on Ash's other 2 pokemon, other than Pikachu? I was thinking the old 150 for him. None of his newer ones...

No I have not... And as for a limit. Dont worry about that right now. We'll get our planning out of the way, and then after we have a vague list, we'll make cuts. If there's someone you really want in det, give me a video of what he/she/it can do. Were thinking of PEOPLE too much... Hmm..

Tauros = Yes. A 4 Legged pokemon? I'd like to see that come into play. And as for a Porygon, does he actually get one? I was thinking Snorlax, but he's too big..

Konata Izumi. Can be just. plain. awesome. Since she's a gaming nerd. I'll make a moveset some time. Maybe while I'm off at an anime convention this weekend.
(oh hey, here's our second LS rep) Kuroi-Sensei. Gimme some more time to think on this one...
Zetsubou Sensei. Will be back shortly with a moveset.
Maybe Haseo and Azure Flame Kite just for kicks if there's room. Should be easy enough to make movesets for them.
Italy/Romano duo (Hetalia). Will also be back with a moveset at some point.

Both those pokemon were jokes, btw. Since he catches 30 tauros in one banned episode and then there's "The Electric Soldier: Porygon!" episode.
