Felipe, shut the crap up. This is the thread for the next version of the game, which will not have Crusade Cancel. I'm tempted to get Nights in here to infract you. It's entirely different than being able to fast fall 4 frames after jumping; fast falling won't cancel Rest. For the love of God, just shut up.
Back on topic now. I will get Nights over here if I have to. There will be no discussion of Crusade Cancel on this thread.

This is gamebreaking because you can fast fall without even complete your jump, is like a Double Jump Cancel but with the defirence EVERYBODY Can do it. Serious wtf, stop being such an hypocite and be partial. Fast Falling before 4 frames >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Crusade Cancel (in terms of brokeness) EDIT: Infrict why?? because i statted my opinion against a change??? Cool story bro.

The fact of the matter is that it's gone. And this is a thread for the next demo. I will no longer argue with you, since otherwise I'd actually be a hypocrite. *cues Nights*

One more post about CC and an infraction will be made. This is for 0.7. NOT 0.6. It no longer exists.

i was using CC as comparaison between it and the New fast Fall Sytem, if others users were mad about mentioning it, is not my fault, i only used it as a comparaison standard.
==================================================================
i think a good thing that can be added is a New layout to Configure the buttons, and a tap jump / double tap FF enable/disable button, that would be amazing.

I never said it was amazing. I could really care less about the restriction thing. I'm just glad that I won't be fast falling whenever I use a Dair.

Don't give Felipe an infraction for saying stuff about CC. He was merely making an analogy. You could give him an infraction for being a troll. Maybe. :/
I think that it won't be broken. You know why? It's humanly impossible to do it that fast at normal game speed on a consistent basis. I just removed the restriction because of how much harder it is to press it twice than once. Trust me, it's not going to be broken. I can only think of a few aerials that are fast enough. The execution required to pull them off, since they're Nairs, will be ridiculous.
Maybe I'll put a 10-frame limit on it.

It's humanly impossible to do it that fast at normal game speed on a consistent basis L-canceling? Wavedashing? Those also require inputs to be made within a very small frame interval. In 1/15th of a second, I could probably do it. Especially on a keyboard, when I have one finger on both up and down. P: Also, the Crusade Cancel stuff would be considered off-topic anyways. I would assume characters like Fox and Jigglypuff would be those among the N-Air-ers.

I can't do it that fast, and I play fighting games. I can get a 6-frame. Fox and Jiggs can get in one technically, but you have to wait until frame 6 or 7 to do it. Like I said, I might put a 10 or 12 frame limit.

Falcon, is not a way of, in same of putting a frame limit, you only be enable to do it on the maximu weight of the jump 8i think is complex, cause you have to know trigonometry to calculate the Anlge/Spped of the jump)

Falcon, remember that if something has the potential to be broken, it will be. Remember Infinite Cape? Some still argue that it shouldn't be banned because it's "too hard to do", not realizing that no one can do it because it was banned. Also, I agree that he shouldn't be infracted just for making a comparison to a technique that nobody likes (except him) That would be like infracting me for that Cape comparison just now. I hope we can keep personal bias out of decision making as much as possible (not saying that you were) EDIT: I do like Felipe's idea of being able to choose fast fall modes. I like single tap, but I'm sure there are quite a few that like both methods. Double tap is too slow for me to do some strings.

I actually prefer single tap also. I have already got used to it. That option would be nice.

looks awesome, can't wait for gooey! i have a question though, do you plan on adding the ability to have four actual players fighting each other, or is there always going to be a 2 player maximum with the ability to add CPU's, and if this is planned...when can we expect to see it implemented? Thanks. As for your question, I don't know that we will see this implemented UNLESS it is a feature of a future online mode. It's just really difficult to have four players on a Game Maker game given the control layout. I see, bummer. the only reason i asked is because ALOT of my friends like playing this with me, and 1-on-1's get boring after a while...oh well. here's hoping something works out.

If there is an online mode, it will simply HAVE to have four-player. I'll say that much. By the way, the control setup menu has been updated.

Ooh, I like that! Very impressive. That should make it a bit easier to configure stuff without having to redo the entire thing.

lol Daw.. I wish there was just some check box in GM that did that. Although I did think of an idea recently that might make it possible, but it's a long shot.
And, thanks to Phantom7 for the control setup art.
