Okay, before I go on, I must say that THIS IS NOT A SUGGESTION FOR CRUSADE. I repeat, THIS IS NOT A SUGGESTION FOR CRUSADE. As much as I’d like for Phoenix to be in, this isn’t an attempt to try to convince you of letting him in. This is, however, a test to see how well people like my moveset that I’m working on for him. This also means don’t go on saying “Phoenix can’t be in Smash Bros.”, I don’t really want to hear that right now, plus many have already said that ALREADY. Alright? Let the moveset BEGIN.
So let us begin.
Entrance - Phoenix is sitting at his desk from the courtroom. He slams his hands down on it, and gets up as the desk vanishes and leaves only Phoenix.
Waiting animation - He puts his hand to his chin, thinks for a moment, scratching his chin, and then goes back into his idle animation.
Specials
Neutral Special - OBJECTION! - Phoenix points his finger outwards and yells “OBJECTION!”, speech bubble and all. The finger deals the most damage and stuns, and the bubble deals more damage and knockback. This attack has decent range and damage; if opponent has high enough damage it could possibly K-O them.
Side Special - TAKE THAT! - Phoenix Wright throws a piece of “evidence” as a projectile attack. The pieces of evidence that could be thrown are The Thinker clock (least likely, deals most damage), a knife (more likely to appear, travels fastest though deals the least amount of damage), or a Samurai Dog, which has the highest chance of appearing, travels at a decent rate and deals damage about the same as Mario’s fireball.
Up Special - Rise From the Ashes - *Warning: Custom Move Approaching* - Phoenix spirals upwards, in a somewhat similar fashion to Wario’s corkscrew from Brawl, with flames flying around him. The attack finishes by Phoenix spreading his arms out and the shadow of a phoenix can be seen behind him, then Phoenix starts falling. This attack can deal multiple hits of damage, and the shadowy/fiery phoenix at the end can also deal damage. All damage that this attack does can be categorized as “fire-type” damage.
Down Special - HOLD IT! - Phoenix holds his arms to his body for a few seconds, as if he were guarding. If someone attacks Phoenix while in this state, Phoenix yells HOLD IT!, and the speech bubble appears, stopping the attacking opponent and damaging them.
Final Smash - The Final Verdict - A large, shadowy figure appears in the background of the stage. It starts to become clearer, and eventually it becomes a shadowy form of the judge! A text-box appears appears at the bottom of the screen (a text box from Phoenix Wright, of course), and it starts to read: “I find all of you... guilty...”, and then the shadowy judge slams his gavel onto the stage, and anyone hit directly by it takes large damage and knockback, which can easily result in a K-O. The gavel also creates a shockwave/earthquake on the stage, dealing minimal damage to anyone caught in the quake. The judge then disappears into the background again.
*Note* I feel that some will think this is a completely custom move, but I assure you there is some origin behind this. In the beginning cutscene of Phoenix Wright: Justice For All, Phoenix Wright is having a nightmare, and in it, a large shadowy figure of the judge appears, and crushes Phoenix with his gavel. So yeah. Nyah. I know that Phoenix probably couldn’t actually SUMMON this thing from his dreams, but... well, oh well. Smash has had some weirder stuff.
I’ll add some more later. Please tell me what you think, I would like to improve my moveset creating skillz. So yeah.
