Arcadium RPG

Welcome to my role playing game. Looking for at least 4-6 people to join in. I'll try and update every day at least a few times, but I'm not perfect.

The story takes place in a city called Arcadium. The city was once filled with heroes, but the new ruler, King Henry the peach (my character), has declared heroes 'enemies of peace' and has made it unlawful to be super. In order for Arcadium to achieve it's perfect peace, all heroes must be killed. This is where you come in. You are some of the last remaining heroes in the city, and are forming a resistance against the king.



RULES:

If you want to join, give me these things and I'll write up your stats.

these next stats can be rearranged by raising one stat and lowering another up to 2 levels.

weakness-(This can be ANYTHING. Every hero has their own personal weakness. It could be silver, water, bread sticks, anything.)



After a sufficient amount have joined I'll start things up. The way I will update during non-combat will be in set time intervals. If you make an action then I will implement it on schedule but if you don't do anything then your character remains static for that set of events and lags behind.

There will be a 60 word minimum rule during non-combat, although I'm a nice guy sometimes so I won't bite your head off if it's short.

I think I'll join this. It's very similar to an RPG a friend of mine ran at school.
Assuming we don't necessarily have to be human (part of the other game I played), I'd be a two-foot tall anthropomorphic bunny. My element is lightning. I fight with throwing pikes (essentially mini lightning rods) and electricity.
If we have to be human, then I'll still be electricity but I'll wield a katana. I'll add more description when I'm not typing on my ipod.
So Name is Raine (pronounced Rai-neh), which is short for Raine no Toumon (Japanese for Thunderclap)
Description is above.
Elemental affinity is above.
Weakness would be Rubber, latex, you know, non-conductive things.

Elemental Affility: Purple Electricity.
Weakness: Magnets, as it makes me stick to things without knowing how. I'm also weak to blood and scientific stuff like particles and mercury.

To prevent the work falling into the wrong hands, he was given an automatic defense mechanism; if he was in danger of being used for evil, he could release a massive discharge strong enough to incinerate even non-conductive objects. However, he would do this on pain of being near death; his power reserves would be depleted to a near negligible level. Another security measure that was added was that his lips were literally sealed; since he runs on electricity, he doesn't need it anyways. He can communicate through electromagnetic waves, such as broadcasting onto radios and cellphones. This final modification was performed literally on the head scientist's deathbed, and after the procedure was finished, Raine was announced to be complete.

To clarify, he can only channel electricity through his right arm and both legs. He wields his blade with his left hand, however, which he can channel electricity though when given the opportunity.

Just a quick question, what's the "overdrive" thing on the character sheets?
Also, you need to add red to the Slots section.

Raise Attack by two, lower defense by two.

Good call on the Red thing.

Overdrive is something that I'll get into detail later, but basically you get one to use after you level up. You can store them for a useful situation, because they have many uses. One use would be avoiding a blow that would kill you. Another would be doing a special attack. ect.

Also if you're curious, magic will work in an interesting way in this game. It's easy to do ridiculous amounts of damage without having to roll to hit or you can inversely block magic attacks, as long as you are willing to spend more MP. You can use up as much 10 MP in a turn. Of course, you can block a magic attack by expending MP as well. You get more HP and MP every level. Also a special thing you can do is use up 10 MP to negate any magical attack. Each MP equals your magic power in terms of damage dealt and taken, so you can do much more with more magic.

Ah. That's cool. I'll have to think up something to do with that, attack-wise.
Even though the stats haven't been decided yet, I'll follow suit with Maiz and say that I'll be lowering my Attack and Defense by 1 each and raising Magic and Agility by one each. If we're only allowed to make one lowering and one raise, I'll just do Defense down 2, Agility up 2.

Although I guess I'll have to be careful with overusing my lightning attacks, since they're presumably in the magic category. But hey, that's what I have a katana for!

Also came up with an interesting attack over the last couple of days, which I suppose will be useful as an Overdrive:
SHORAIYUUKEN!!!
Essentially Shoryuken, but with lightning surging through my arm during the uppercut. Goes like this:
1. Charge arm.
2. Initial uppercut to the jaw.
3. Massive jolt of lightning discharges from my fist.
4. ??????????
5. Profit Victory.

The other interesting follow up I came up with was impaling the opponent with my katana while they're in the air, then using it as a lightning rod for a final, amazingly epic lightning-bolt-finisher.

Yeah your really powerful with your lightning, but burning yourself out with them isn't the best idea because chances are a mega-destructive bolt on one enemy won't really help if your surounded. Maybe I'll add a rule for spreading damage with magic.

Another thing that you guys may have noticed is that Detta and El Maiz have different gap sizes for damage. That's because with more speed you can attack more.

Just waiting on 4 characters, except El Maiz still needs to tell me if he uses a weapon or just his mitts.

He fights with his great strength and club tied onto his back. He also has ability to survive in any frosty enviroment; exposure to extremely cold enviroments will merely slow his movements down. He has very durable and large lungs with which he attacks with icy, dangerously so, exhales of big range and power. Lastly he can modify his inner temperature at will, from midly cold to icy cold.Thus he can walk on water by freezing it and can wear opponent down, even kill him by touching him and freezing him.

He is weak to large temperatures. His body has absolutely no way to deal with those. He can however counter fire with high power exhales.

Elemental Affinity: Water, I guess.

Weapon: Big and tough club.
