Sprites should not be added just to have a character. The reason why Goku and Mega are getting new sprites is because they don't fit. So why add fugly sprites with the idea in mind that they will be replaced? Explain Goku, Mega Man, Ryu, and Chun-Li. It was painfully obvious they wouldn't fit to begin with. |

Anyways, Roy, the reason why they did it like that is because they were being lazy. It's the sad truth.
My guess is that, because they're in a hurry to complete the game by Summer 2012, they can't really care about the quality of sprites. However, when Phantom goes to college and Falcon leaves college(both in that summer, IIRC) DMX will have time to resprite the chars.

I don't know if anyone cares, but IMO, I say we should just keep all the sprites as is. As long as characters from the same series match in sprites. Except possibly Megaman, unless the only other character from Megaman that's added is Roll. (Also, I'd really like Goku's sprites to stay the same, I prefer those over the JUS sprites, but I know they're going to be changed anyway.) |
