That's really it.
But it's much more predictable. When you you need to kill with your recovery while you recover?

I will say Lucas has got better and cooler moves but Ness has his pk fire and bat! Also as a general rule I don't like ranged grabs. Either way I'm not that much of a fan of either, mostly BECAUSE of the recovery moves.

No, I really doubt it.

Ness's should be changed, but I doubt they'll change it.

I don't mind if the effects stay the same, but can someone change Ness' animations and names? He only learns two of the five special moves he has, PK Flash and PK Rockin. The others are all learned by other people. I dunno why it annoys me, but it does D:

Frankly, I grew up with Ness just from the Smash series, so it would seem more foreign to change it to me.

I keep noticing with Ness and Lucas, it's nearly impossible to recover from the middle of buildings in Viridian City and Fourside. PK Thunder keeps getting neutralized at the close walls.

It happens. That goes all the way back to saffron city in Smash 64.

That's why they were counterpick stages. If you had Ness or Lucas, you could refuse having to play on that stage.

I play as Ness all the time and I play on Fourside all the time. I'm radiating confidence. At least the PK Thunder controls are better in this demo.

What do you think about the changes to Ness this time around? Anything you didn't like? Anything you like a lot? What other changes should there be?

Change Ness' Up B to into PK Teleport
There I fixed your problem.

Change Ness' Up B to into PK Teleport There I fixed your problem. Oh boy, ANOTHER "Just warp" Up special. Why remove what's already unique? Besides, PK Teleport involved running around and running really fast. That wouldn't work in SSB.

Well Din's Fire made you invincible and instantly kill all nearby enemies. That wouldn't work in SSB. But no, it still exists in SSB, because they changed it. You can change PK Teleport too.
Although I think PK Thunder > PK Teleport. We've got far too many teleport-type up-B's atm, I can think of 3 off the top of my head. PK Thunder's unique, and it seriously isn't that hard to use. It's harder to use than other Up Bs, sure, in that you need to do more than hold Up and press B. But all you need to do is make a semicircle from the top to the bottom, going either left or right, with your joystick. On the keyboard, you hold left for a short time, then hold down for a longer time, then hold right for a short time and then hold up. PK Thunder's fine as it is, and it's much easier to use than people make it out to be. Keep PK Thunder.

what about ness steal ninten ability to do 4th-D Slip as new up-b intsead of teleport its the same thing except no running right?
edit it would be like this
ness yell's 4th-D Slip!”, then a black portal opens up behind him and he is sucked in and the portal disapears. Seconds later the portal reopens and ness is spat out (in a reckless fassion) about 40 yards away from where the first portal opened up.
it's more or less a good example
OR WHAT ABOUT
PSI Farewell is a PSI ability in EarthBound. Most details surrounding it are unknown as it is only used during a cutscene at the end of the game, but it appears to be almost equivalent to the Teleport PSI. However, PSI Farewell only requires the user to spin clockwise repeatedly until vanishing in a puff of smoke. PSI Farewell is only used by Poo after the defeat of Giygas when the Chosen Four are back in Saturn Valley, although he states it is a strange power he realized as a child.

PK Thunder is still one of the most unique moves in the game. And Lucas's is cool too. IMO they should both stay. And if they change, don't copy and past a moveset from somewhere on the internet. >_>

that's from earthbound wiki
and clones are not cool (unless it's falco) i hate when two fighter have the same moves it means that the people makeing the game were to lazy to come up with a better moveset
