I agree with you on the Viewtiful Joe part, but I think he should be in Zero's place if Tron's not in as DLC at least. Tron and Zero were the ones to represent Megaman in MVC3, so I think it would make sense if they were both in.
And I don't want Phoenix Wright (sorry Generic) at all a lot. I just don't like the idea of playing as a lawyer who's special ability is screaming "OBJECTION!" very much. Just my opinion. Also, I can't conjure an opinion for Haggar.

Yeah, the only Capcom character that I'm sure should be added is Joe.
Maybe Dante would make a good character?

Captain Commando was from Capcom?
Oh, right... Nathan Rad Spencer is from Bionic Commando. Well I had never heard of Captain Commando until I heard of MVC2 (I did get TvC for Christmas as a game my cousins found, and from Megaman Volnutt I learned of Mega Man Legends. However, I only heard of MVC2 after I heard of MVC3, and I heard of that from an X-Play episode).

Whoever says Viewtiful Joe wouldn't fit knows nothing of Viewtiful Joe.
I haven't even played his games and I KNOW he's a perfect fit. Just by watching gameplay.

According to wikipedia, the first and second were on the PS2, the third was on the PS2 and Windows, 4th Windows, PS3, X360, and iOS, and 5th on PS3, Windows, and X360.

Let's not forget that Morrigan's only games on Nintendo were crossovers. And crossovers where she's the ONLY representative of Darkstalkers.
Since her actual series hasn't been on Nintendo, she should automatically disqualified.
