Yes. I'm putting all my suggestions into a thread, and will update as time goes on.
First off, Rayman.
Da Generic Name then had the notion of Bub from Bubble Bobble, who, like NiGHTS, would have 5's in representation and popularity, but suffered the same problem, a low viability and uniquness rating.
Now, Da Generic Name takes on a new character...
RAYMAN!
Yes, Rayman.
First off, the sprite sheet: i37.tinypic.com/2eb4nme.png
It is almost 100% complete, although it is just missing the final smash. The Normal special, as in the games, would be charged in place. The more you charge, the further it'd go. You can move once you shoot it, but it will always come back to you. It can attack enemies on it's way back as well. Only one can be used at a time, and if used in the air it is already fully charged.
Side Special is self-explanatory.
Up Special would make Rayman rise, not doing any damage, and then slowly descend. It could also be possible to use this to slowly hover downwards in mid-air without rising first, by holding the jump button.
Down Special would make you be put in control of the rocket, as you would in his game. This bears a similarity to Snake's side special.
No Final Smash is given.
I want to show how he could be graded, using the same style as Phantom's grading for Agumon.
Uniqueness: If we look at his appearance, we can clearly tell that he'd be one different person. No character, aside from Ed from Tonic Trouble that was made by the same company as Rayman, appears similar to him. No one. Just appearance alone would make him astoundingly fun to play with.
Now, onto playstyle. Rayman's moves in the sprite sheet (shown below) do not show much of a similarity to other character's moves, although they seem relatively simple. The Up Special and Down special seem a bit similar to Tails' and Snake's, but they bear a small difference.
Overall, this probably receives a 4.5.
Viability: Although not having any limbs, Rayman has to keep his hands and feet near him most of the time. He'd fit in wonderfully, with his cartoonish appearance. His moves would take a bit of lag to move, but not too much, similar to Mario's moves.
As for moveset potential, he uses a variety of moves in all his games, whether it be the first one with his famous fist throwing technique and hair-copter, the direct sequals giving him a variety of weapons to use that are a bit complex, the various plungers and minigames from Raving Rabbids, and possible moves from the new game being made for E3. There are many more possible moves.
For coding, as mentioned above, most of the moves could be similar to other moves in the game, making it not too difficult to code them. The thing I think would be difficult to code would be the normal special, which at that would be basically a very fast Boomerang.
Since there's already a sheet, not much spriting is needed. However, there needs t be a final smash, which could possibly be something such as a bunch of Rabbids coming to attack, or his flying shell to hit many enemies in his own path, similar to Super Sonic except you cannot stop moving.
Overall, it'd probably get a 5.
Popularity: Rayman got re-released a number of times for a number of his games. Rayman 1 was released on the MS-DOS, PlayStation, Atari Jaguar, Sega Saturn, PC, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation Network, and for DSiWare. It was originally also going to be released on the SNES, the Mac OS, the N64, the Gizmondo, the Sega 32X, and the Panasonic 3D0. Many fangames have also been made. Rayman 2 was released on the Nintendo 64, PC, Dreamcast, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Color, Nintendo DS, PlayStation Network, iOS, and the Nintendo 3DS. The third was released on the Nintendo GameCube, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 2, Xbox, PC, Mobile, N-Gage, and the Mac OS X. After this, however, they mainly sticked to a few consoles.
Added to the mainstream games, Rayman also had an educational game, a Golf game, a Bowling game, two educational games, a multiplayer racing and a multiplayer party game, and started the spin-off series of the Rabbids.
Added to this, Rayman had a French television show and a hack for Brawl. There are also a number of Rayman remixes on Newgrounds.
Overall, this probably gives him a 5.
Representation: Saved the best for last.
Let's see Rayman 1's reviews first. Gamespot gave the PC version a 7.4/10. Allgame gave the Playstation version a 4/5. Metacritic gave the Advance version an 84/100, IGN UK gave the GB version a 9/10 and a 7/10 to the Playstation version. Overall, pretty positive reviews. However, added to this, Rayman was awarded "Best Music in a CD-ROM game" and "Best Animation" by Electronic Gaming Monthly. Now, let's go into Rayman 2.
Rayman 2 was given a 9.3/10 by Gamespot, a 9.6/10 by IGN, a 90/100 by MetaCritic, a 93% by GameRankings, and an 8.9/10 by ActionTrip. However, various ports, such as the NDS and 3DS received mediocre reviews.
Rayman 3 received similar scores to the 1st. Metacritic gave the PC version a 74%, the PS2 version a 76%, and the GameCube version a 77%. Gameinformer gave the Xbox version an 8.5/10, gamespot gave the PS2 version an 8.1/10, Gamespy gave it 4/5 stars, IGN gave the PS2 version an 8.9 out of 10, Game critics gave the PS2 version a 8.5/10, Nintendojo gave the PS2 version a 9.5/10, and GameKiq gave the PC version a 9.4 out of ten.
The Rabbids series, however, did not do so good. Metacritic gave it a 58/100, though IGN and Xbox magazine gave it an 8.3 and 6.5 respectively. Quite a bit of a drop, although this game gave a different perspective to the Rayman series-being originally a platformer and then a party game. It's sequal received even worse, with a 7.75/10 by Gameinformer, a 6.3/10 by IGN, Gamerankings gave the Wii version a 66% and the DS version a 50.5%. Metacritic gave it a 67/100. TV party, the last Rabbids game with Rayman, received better reviews. IGN gave it the Best Use of Sound, Best Family Game, and Best Use of the Wii Balance Board awards. IGN gave it a 7/10 and Gametrailers gave it a 7.4/10. However, many fans were not fond of this game due to Rayman's personality and only appearing in cutscenes
Overall, the Rabbids series made Rayman's series lackluster, and even got replaced by the Rabbids, period. Three Rabbids even made it into a TMNT smash game, and Rayman didn't.
If you only count the classic games, which was the main point of representation (nostalgia), it'd get a 4-4.5. If you counted all of the games, it'd get a 3.5-4.
Overall, I think this would make him get a 4.
Representation: 4
Uniqueness: 4.5
Popularity: 5
Viability: 5
Overall: 18.5/20 or 92.5/100.
Well, comments? Questions? Opinions? Devs comments and scores?
Please post.
I'd also like to change representation to a 3.5 for a total score of 18.
Also, if possible, I'd like the other people to grade him yourself, if possible. Especially DMX. :V
Now, a character that has also been heavily requested, a character that I would like, I will grade, and was previously in the roster:
Nightmare.
I have no idea why he was removed. I will express why in grading him:
Popularity: Nightmare is very popular. Why is this? Well, 1. His games have a vast majority of guest appearances, including Star Wars characters, Kratos, Lloyd Irving, and Nintendo's own Link. I believe all of those characters were in the roster at one time/are in the roster. Reason No. 2: Fanart and Cosplays. Although he doesn't have an extensive amount of fanart, he has so. So. So many cosplays.

That's only the first page of Google's search of "Nightmare Soul Calibur Cosplay".
Reason No. 3: It's vast majority of ports and different systems. And the fact that it's a running series.
And I could go on for more stuff about this. There's a bunch more stuff to prove he's popular. For example:
I think it's pretty evident to give him a 5.
Uniqueness: HOLY CRAP, how can you not give him a 5? He's a knight, yes, BUT HE HAS A FREAKING DEMONIC ARM! One of his more current outfits makes him ALMOST A GHOST with a FREAKING MYTHOLOGICAL SPHERE connecting the upper body and lower body. He has a UNICORN HORN and SPIKES ALL AROUND HIM. I realize we have a lot of sword wielders, but none of them have a FREAKING EYEBALL IN THE MIDDLE. And at that, he uses it differently from other sword wielders, due to it being a large one. AND IT HAS FREAKING BLOOD VESSELS. He's also an alter ego of the character Siegfried, though becomes a different entity later. AND GLOWING RED EYES. AND A RED PONYTAIL. He's also a heavyweight. Which we need more of. And an antagonist. He's also NAMED AFTER A FREAKING BAD DREAM and is A SWORD IN HUMANOID FORM.
And he's a heavyweight.
Viability: First, let's go over moveset potential. As a taunt, we could have him hold his joke weapon from SCII, the giant squid. Neutrals? Being in a fighting game gives him more than enough to work with. In fact, the ones that couldn't be used as ground moves could be given to his aerials. Grabs and throws? He does those in the game as well. His final smash could be his critical finish. Now, as for specials, he doesn't really have anything to use in his fighting, but rather aesthetical(is that the right word?) moves from the game itself. For example, he could use that power up thing where he turns green when you use it in SCII to power up his moves, a counter, or even moves from his cutscenes. For example, the crow could fly to him and then go to an enemy. He could gain wings from Night Terror to fly for an up special and shoot beams, or just blasts. And if worse comes to worse, it's not hard to make up moves for sword fighers.
Coding? No problem, I don't think. Aside from locking on with the bird, it's nothing too complex for coding. IMO.
Spriting? Slissith and PHHP mentioned a want to sprite him.
Fitting in? Falcon said that the reason they cut him was becuase he didn't fit in. I don't get this. EWJim fits less than him, IMO. What makes him so non-fitting in? His body is the shape of a human. I don't get why not.
Overall? I'd give him a 4.5, due to spriting. However, he'd fit well in JUS IMO.
And, last, but certainly not least:
Representation: I'm not going to count the first, due to not making an appearance.
soulcalibur's reception:
Now, for ratings. I'm not going to count the XBLA version, since that was only a port and had mediocre scores around 8. Gamerankings gave it a 96.26%. Metacritic gave it a 98. Electronic Gaming Monthly gave it a 10/10. Famitsu gave it a 40/40. Game Informer gave it a 9.25/10. Gamepro gave it 5 stars. Gamespot gave it a 10/10, and IGN gave it a 10/10.
A quote describing SCII:
Soul Calibur III also did well, though not as well. E3 2005 gave it the Best Fighting Game awards by bost GameSpot and Game Critics. IGN gave it the best fighting game of 2005 award. Metacritic gave it an 86/100. Edge gave it an 8/10, Electronic Gaming Monthly gave it a 9/10, Eurogamer gave it an 8/10, GamePro gave it a 4/5, Gamespot gave it an 8.2/10, and IGN gave it an 8.5/10.
As time went on, they got scores about 8.5-10ish. So, I think I'll give him a 4.5
Popularity: 5
Viability: 4.5
Uniqueness: 5
Representation: 4.5
Overall: 19 or 95
Now, who should be replaced for Nightmare?
Despite mentioning that he fits more than E.Jim,, I'm, not proposing that we should take him out. His games were highly received, can take his head out of his body to attack which adds uniqueness, and is quite a popular classic character.
Who I AM proposing to take out is Morrigan, for a number of reasons:
1. As Golden said, her main series has not been on a Nintendo console: just on crossovers.
2. As I said, posting certain images of her, and at that, certain official images of her, could fall into the category of mild sexual explicity. Explicits. Expliciti. Explici.
3. Morrigan's recpetion is really only for her abilities and the fact that she's a chick. Ranked 11 in UGO's top 50 videogame hotties, in the top 11 girls of gaming, 43 in IGN's top 50 chicks behaving badly list, number 3 in Gamespy's top 10 Babes in Games, and GameDaily put her in the Ten Babes who should and 10 babes who shouldn't meet your mom. wut
4. The series of Soul Calibur is more popular than the series of DarkStalkers.
5. Nightmare would give the game a fighting character that was not made by Capcom or only released in Japan.
6. Having Nightmare would give us an antagonist.
7. Nightmare'd give us a heavyweight.
And that's it.
Coming Soon:
Rise to the skies-in two different characters.
First off, Rayman.
Earlier, Da Generic Name had suggested NiGHTS, a highly supported character that wasn't liked by Phantom nor DMX. Da Generic Name later found out information to give representation and popularity 5's, but decided not to post the result due to a low viability and uniqueness.
Da Generic Name then had the notion of Bub from Bubble Bobble, who, like NiGHTS, would have 5's in representation and popularity, but suffered the same problem, a low viability and uniquness rating.

And I could go on for more stuff about this. There's a bunch more stuff to prove he's popular. For example:
Nightmare has received praise both as an aspect of Siegfried and as a series villain, and has been described as "one of the most memorable fighting-game villains in history." The New York Times noted his size and appearance alongside Astaroth's as standouts in the series, adding "they offer characters made for the sort of player who would have preferred Sonny Liston to Muhammad Ali, or Shaquille O'Neal to Michael Jordan." Others have been critical of the character's strength, such as JIVE Magazine which described him as one of several "total crutches for mediocre players" in Soulcalibur II.
In a 2002 poll by Namco prior to the release of Soulcalibur II regarding their favorite character, Siegfried placed ninth with 2.5% of the tally, tied with Mitsurugi. Nightmare placed first in UGO.com's "Top 11 SoulCalibur Fighters" article, with the writers statement "Was there ever really any question? Not for us..." and praise for his strength and role as a "badass, playable villain." IGN listed him as a character they wished to see in Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a playable guest villain, though noted he was also "too extreme" for the series. In a later article on the Soul series itself, they noted "a Soul game simply feels incomplete without an appearance by the warring personalities of Siegfried and Nightmare", and praised the contrast between Siegfried's angelic figure and Nightmare's demonic form.

By 1999, the Dreamcast port of Soulcalibur sold one million copies. The game is often considered to be one of the greatest games of all time, receiving perfect 10 scores from GameSpot, a Platinum Award from Electronic Gaming Monthly, a 10.0 from IGN, and being the second game ever to get a perfect 40/40 by Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu (the first being The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time). It is also currently listed as one of the best reviewed games of all time on the video-game-dedicated review aggregating site, GameRankings. Soulcalibur won the 1999 E3 Game Critics Award for Best Fighting Game and the 2000 Interactive Achievement Award for Console Game of the Year.
Soulcalibur was placed as EGM's 22nd best game ever on its "The Greatest 200 Videogames of Their Time" list. IGN listed it as the 38th greatest game of all time on their 2003 top 100 list, the 43rd in 2005, and was voted the sixth greatest game in the 2006 readers' picks version. Later, in their "Top 25 Dreamcast Games", they placed Soulcalibur as the 5th best. It was also placed as the best Dreamcast game by Game Informer and Gamesradar. Soul Calibur placed 74th on Game Informer's "Top 100 Games of All Time" in 2001.

Soulcalibur II was rated the 18th best game made on a Nintendo System in Nintendo Power's Top 200 Games list. Media reviews of Soulcalibur II were overwhelmingly favorable, as the game earned over 91% for all versions on Gamerankings.com, and commercially the game sold well. It has also earned a 9.2 out of 10 from IGN. It received a score of 10/9/10 from Electronic Gaming Monthly: the first reviewer, Shawn Elliott, believed it to be the greatest fighting game ever created, and third reviewer Dan Hsu said that no fighting game "has come close to the depth SC2 has".
The game also did well in the competitive gaming scene, both in the US and abroad, where it was featured in many tournaments for the years after it came out. The game was particularly noted for its balance, as many different characters placed in top levels in tournaments.
Game Rankings scores it 91.3% for the PlayStation 2, 92.3% for the GameCube, and 91.6% for the Xbox.
E3 2003 Game Critics Awards: Best Fighting Game[7]
X-Play - 10th best GameCube game of all time.
Screwattack.com - 8th best GameCube game[citation needed]
Game Informer - 10th best game on the GameCube.
