I was thinking for awhile about this idea of holding a SSBC tournament over by using Teamviewer. I feel that SSBC fans should compete each other in order to test each other skills. So what do you guys think about this?

Teamviewer is really, really laggy. I don't think that it would work well.

Doesn't have to be teamviewer, and yes sometimes it does get laggy. Lol, Dawis I have just about the same speed as you. xD
Edit:
I think we should test each other's computer first before this event can be established.

I say we give it a try since there's nothing bad about trying. Anyways, I'll test it out with a friend of mine.

I'm always up for a tournament of any kind. my laptop is very recent, and my internet is decent enough. I vote yes on this as long as the lag isn't colossal.

Oh that's great! At least we have one support!
Edit: Well after testing with DGN using teamviewer, it turns out that it's VERY laggy, so I guess we can lock this topic.

Don't just lock it, get other people to help too, maybe make suggestions, give ideas and help each other (anyway, I DO want a online Crusade brawl. My parents are driving me nuts with no internet on the Wii)

1. ITs way too laggy. No one could help with it. 2. I don't know how you can give suggestions to a program... 3. Internet on the wii is FREE, unlike the Xbox. 4. It CAN Be locked, as Jaklub showed there's another way to play online: through actual coding.

I recently talked with one of my class mates who said he has made a small game using online multiplayer, so I might be able to get some help with it!
As for the tourney, you guys do what you want, but online mode in-game is still a ways off.

When are we gonna be able to play Crusade with the Crusade Tourment? I can't wait!
Here are some ideas:
1. When you choose to have online multi-player, make sure the contestants are not the same character. 2. If you want to be the same character then you must do 2 VS 1/2 VS 2/1 Vs 3. 3. If you choose to play as the same character but different appearance, well, that's fine. 4. If you ever plan to chat while having a Crusade match, well, you can't. Because there could be a chat box for when you choose online matches. 5. If the mods verse you, and you win, then you will gain 10 Karma. 6. If you lose, you lose 5 Karma. 7. When you are having a Crusade match, and you're playing with other person on your computer, make sure they are able to play. 8. Do not press ESCAPE while playing online, that could mess up the match. 9. If you want to not play any more, DIE!! 10. You cannot use Final Smash unless you're about to die.
What do you think?

Lots of people main the same characters. 2. Doesn't matter. 3. There aren't different appearances. That's what the playertags are for. 4. Audio chat support/ entirely different program for audio chat? 5. I'd start gaining karma rapidly. 6. If I become a mod, nobody would play me ;-; 7. Gamepad support or Joy2Key or something like that. 8. It would just end it or cause the player to not move. 9. No, finish the match. 10. Where's the fun in that? Final Smashes are an integral part of the game.

Problems I have with that:
a. Teamviewer is too laggy. b. I don't trust Teamviewer for security reasons. c. I haven't played Crusade since I had the new computer set up.

Well, check it on Trend Micro Internet Scurity Pro. See if it causes any problems. I probaly would trust the program, because you can still block the virus from tring to do something, and internet scurity will prevent that from happening, if you do computer checks everyday. And I think that's fine with everyone.

Corey, he means security issues from the other person. You can really mess someone up with teamviewer.
