Hey everyone. I don't know when Phantom wants to open it to the public, but we are working on an official update site for Super Smash Bros. Crusade. This will include the direct download (without anything confusing), official game updates, game information and FAQ, official screenshots and videos, and more!
We have a very special announcement that will be on the site as well. I've seen the home page and it looks great. Yes, Phantom made it from scratch with his own custom graphics just for the site!

I would assume this means he made the entire thing in HTML. I seem to recall him saying he had experience in it.

Bah, whatever.
As long as it IS made in HTML(it says made from scratch, but that could mean that he used a web source and made EVERYTHING his own art, like a wix site) I'm fine with it.

He's doing it in scratch with HTML. It should be released soon, but I don't want to give any release dates..

Perhaps it's because he sucks at giving release date estimates.
I don't see why you can't just announce something once it's finished for once. Then we don't have to screw around with missed release dates and stuff like that.

Actually, I try to give good release dates, but something screws up and things get hold back for weird reasons.
We plan on releasing it before it's finished.

Release dates haven't worked in the past so the site isn't getting one. We used to discuss the release dates too. The 0.6 didn't work too well because Falcon and Phantom weren't there to release it and the game files weren't even cleaned up yet. 0.7 didn't work because we originally didn't want to give a release date, but you guys insisted that we gave it one, so Falcon said mid-summer this year.
I don't know when 0.7 and the site are being released so hang in there.

Phantom's still working on it. He hasn't recently. He's been making character art that can be seen on the Facebook page, if you've been checking.

This is the first smash bros fangame with almost all elements from the real games included right? I think you guys could go commercial. But obviously give free copies to the people who supported this game from the beginning. |
