Mine was all lvl 20. In case you haven't noticed yet, I'm restarting a new game; therefore, this is pretty easy to me. lol, anyways I suggest that you should be around lvl 18 by the time you encounter the desert lion scorpion boss. Also, make sure you don't miss the fire djinni, Corona, which is up north from Xian.

Right now, my party members are all at lvl 27. I'm at Crossbone Isle collecting valuable items and treasures. If you don't telling me, can you list the equipment that each of your party member has right now, so i can evaluate it?

Looks like a good setup, but I'm going to need to know each character's current class type, so I can give you a more detailed response. Edit: Here's my video: It's a battle between my party and Deadbeard (probably the second deadliest boss in GS1) at Crossbone Isle!

Hm, I'm actually enjoying having Garet as a Brute instead of a warrior. Planet Diver is a fun move, and Garet fits the motto of "Screw defense, give me more offense", lol. Currently in Vale cave, and everybody is level 21.

Well brute class is good, but you have to make sure that you have a sufficient amount of pp and health to truly master the brute class. Also, offense doesn't necessarily mean is good. Sometimes keeping a balanced class is better.

What I actually go for is elemental power. Sheer stats are nice but having Jenna with 200 mars power means that her healing is twice as good. Also resistances are nice to have for avoiding dangerous attacks because the honest truth is that a normal attack isn't very threatening.

Physical attack might not look threatening, but if you're able to maneuver through the battle with just pure attack then that my friend will make you a true GS Pro. Of course, keeping balanced elemental resistances against enemies is also a good idea. I, for one, have learned to play with just pure unleashes. I don't rely on psynergy or djinn that much (unless for stats boost and healing). Summons, I hardly use unless I'm really under level and have under leveled equips. Plus, physical attacks are threatening when you have high crit and unleash rate.
Btw, here's another video of mine!
This is probably my quickest boss battle ever! xD

I think is a lot more better to use Psy Energy and Jinns AND normal attack in combination. Psy for Hard hitters , Jinns for healing or hard hitters and normal attack only when your weapon have some kind of effect on the enemy.

Well of course physical attacks are better when you have unleashes which is what I'm trying to say. Wasting psynergy based on attacks isn't necessarily a great idea. The only time I use psynergy is when I need to boost up party's defense, attack, health, and cure ailments. Also, Break is probably an important psynergy move as well, but attacking with just psynergy isn't considered threatening at times unless you know your enemy's breaking point. Combinations of both tactics are good, but keep in mind that you should always have enough psynergy points for stats booster and heal, or else you'll wind up having troubles beating the enemy. Also, normal attack without unleashes is only suggested IF you have a high crit rate and luck, but it's a risky strategy. To conclude my statement, I'll have to say that people have their own strategy, but suggestions never hurt do they?

Oh sorry, when I said physical attacks are not threatening I meant enemy ones. There really isn't much that compares even to Gaia blade in the first game. Then they thought it was a good idea to make Sol blade. I actually only use summons on Dullahan.

Now Dullahan is a different story. Unless you really want to train up to level 99, physical attacks just won't work against him (unless of course you're really confident enough to go with pure physical attacks). So yeah, I actually used summons against Dullahan to be honest. Dullahan's Djinn Storm can really get annoying! Anyways, I agree that there isn't anything comparable to Gaia Blade in the first game; however, Swift Sword can match Gaia Blade's attack power when the character successfully performs three strikes, but the chances of that will depend on the character's luck, and unleash rate. Nevertheless, Gaia Blade will remain the strongest earth type weapon in the first game.
