I feel like my question is being ignored here about Mewtwo.  Mewtwo was left in the screenshot, but we haven't decided for sure if we're going to include him in this update or not because of the sprite issues. But I haven't seen any other sprites being made for Mewtwo, so I'm beginning to think we should just include him and ignore any trolling from the SSF2 dev team. ARE YOU F***ING SERIOUS!?  SWEET! |

I'd seriously advice you not to, as things are going to get ugly.
Plus, seeing that the spriter himself said that we couldn't use them, using them all the same would be simply wrong.

Actually, Slissith has been working on his own custom Mewtwo sprites for us. And its turning out really good. I dont know what the update on that sprite is since I havent checked up on it for some time. As much as using SSF Mewtwo might work, I dont think we would like to take that kind of risk. I mean how bad would that make us look towards other spriters that we are using sprites without permission? |

I agree. As MUCH as i want Mewtwo to be in the game, what SmashKing201 said makes excellent sense.

I agree. As MUCH as i want Mewtwo to be in the game, what SmashKing201 said makes excellent sense. Exactly, taking sprites without permission will not benefit neither side. SSBF will lose a sprite sheet. And as far as us, lets say we find a good sprite sheet for a different character and we want it. We may not get it if that spriter knows about how we took a Mewtwo sprite without permission. So that would look bad in our part. We can lose a lot of respect from the fans, spriters, anyone who is a part of the Smash community/fan games on the internet. This would be too much to risk just for one character. As much as I want Mewtwo, I would rather wait for Slissith's Mewtwo to be done. I think his looks better than SSBF Mewtwo anyways. ;D |

ah if you switch the css[character select screen] in that one demo you can play as mewtwo remember i think that what felipie mean's

I say fudge it and let's put Mewtwo in. No one's getting paid and anyone can use that sheet. There are no competitions and there's nothing they can do to actually stop us.

Except for the fact that if we actually went through with something like that, most spriters wouldn't be willing to help with the game because we used someone's sprites without permission.
If we haven't negotiated with the spriter in a while, why not just try to again before we get into more trouble with him?

Its not even the matter of getting paid for it or if we are even in competition with the opposite fan game. Its the matter of respect and not doing something like that could give us a bad name. No offense DMX, but you as a spriter should understand that also.
just saying
I want Mewtwo in this demo as bad as everyone else, but not if it effects this project in the long term.
On top of that, Slissith has been working on Mewtwo for some time, and it would be a waste of his time spriting a character just to throw it away.
I am looking forward to playing this unlockable character that has been spoiled tomorrow ;D

Hey, guys, don't start this Mewtwo crap again. I worked hard to straighten it out, and it doesn't need to happen again.
And it isn't "trolling" from the devs of Flash if we're the ones taking sprites without permission. I mean, really, I don't know why you guys want to start this **** again.

Well just going to leave the mewtwo issue alone since its not my decision.
As for the page, this page will be the perfect way to reach the crusade audience who are not users on this forum. We can even have polls on both forum and page.
