There are 3 characters are characters that are heavily requested worldwide. They are:  King K. Rool-The Kaptain of the Kremling Krew  Ridley-The Cunning God of Death  Mega Man-The Blue Bomber They all have their fans, but which one do YOU want the most? Note that this isn't for anything. I'm just curious to see the results. |

As much as I would love Ridley, I have more knowledge of K. Rool, and if I had a choice between the two, I'd go with him.
I don't know enough of Mega Man to care about him.
So I vote K. Rool.

I really want to see K Rool playable and I hope so. But, I want to see Ridley cause I want a Metroid rep.
Another thing also. What makes me want Ridley over K Rool is this. If K Rool was to be playable, will he be a good fighter? I know everyone is good with someone, but on a personal standpoint K Rool looks like he would be a slow and uncomfortable character to me. Like I am not comfortable playing Bowser or DDD and I feel K Rool will fall in that category for me. Though Ridley is big also, I have faith that he would at least be agile enough and wont be as gimmicky.
Long story short, I think K Rool will be more gimmicky than Ridley, which would make the character uncomfortable to play as.

Rool is pretty basic, while RIDLEY would be the gimmicky one. Ridley would be the largest character of the game (and still workable), and would most likely have slow attacks while grounded while fast attacks in the air, where he's most lethal. |

And as Golden said, Ridley would be a bit quirky to play as...but at that, IMO it wouldn't be long claw attacks. It'd be short ones. Like with his tail attack in Other M. |

Looks like Ridley and Megaman are equally popular.
I'm not surprised if they both end up being rivals for the most popular characters wanted for SSB4 in the official polls.

Slow =/= bad. DDD has chaingrabs and is in the high tier. Ike has the longest range and is in a debatable limbo between mid and low tier. DK has no excuse for being slow, and is still in the middle tier. Ganondorf doesn't need to be mentioned.
Ridley won't necessarily be the largest in the game. Don't you remember him from the original Metroid? He was barely taller than Samus.

And Samus is one of the taller characters of Smash. Ridley would be taller than Ganondorf and Bowser, thereby making him the largest in the game. Even if it isn't by much, he'd still be the tallest no matter how you slice it.
