Why I would ask you something? To have your question answered by me, of course? Oh great and powerful Marty. How does someone invent a new way to do Math? (such as, create new math problems) I'm not a mathematician, so I don't know. As to how we've formed the modern mitochordria or other organelles of eukaroytic cells I'd look into the Endosymbiotic theory. Basically just baceria spiltting until one swallows the other one.

OH GREAT MARTY, what exactly makes Venus Fly Traps inclined to snap and bite any bug around it?

Great and wise Marty, can clownfish live in jellyfish' tentacles?

Fairly well marty, mitochondria have DNA of their own anyway.
Are reptiles of high metabolism such as varanuses and crocodiles, intelligent, as in exhibiting any characteristics of it?

OH GREAT MARTY, what exactly makes Venus Fly Traps inclined to snap and bite any bug around it? It's capable of generating electrical signals. Basically, the plant secretes a sweet sap which attracts a lot of insects. When a bug land on the plant it, the "hairs" on the plant transfer mechnical energy into eletrical energy. As the insect brushes on the venus fly trap, the little electrical charges travel into the center of the plant. It's orginially convex, but as the eletricity goes towards the center of the plant, it open specialized pores into the outter layer which rushes water from the cells on the inside to the outside. So it snaps. Or at least, that's the theory. ---- I haven't heard of Clown fish living in Jelly-fish. Although, they are immuned to it's stingers. ----- What does a high digestive system have to do with intelligence?

High metabolism is linked to more recent organisms such as mammals, who are generally considered more intelligent. Birds and Mammals are also more social beings which requires decent intelligence. Varanuses and crocodiles may be reptiles, but have higher metabolism as well as a higher level of intelligence.
Of course, creatures such as Rhinos and cows do not follow that rule, but generally creatures of higher metabolism have a higher chance to be smarter.
Higher metabolism also entails a need for frequent feeding, frequent success is important, so adaptivity is required. This explains why predators of higher metabolism are inclined to be more intelligent.
This is a simple explaination, on how metabolism, through lifestyle, affects intelligence.

Adaption occurs in every single respects. Say for example, how sight works is generally different number of spieces, and those who have the least accature abillity to view the world will eventually go extinct. None of this really means they have a higher intelligence unless you count adapation to enviroment in various amounts of ways as being intelligent. I'm sure some spieces have very curious ways in survival. ______
Also, lol at the pony **** storm thread that I wanted to post in about discrimination.
Someone gets their feelings hurt and everyone's automatic response is to banter and berate that person. Good way in trying to convince someone to loosen up: By telling them what they did was WRONG, and then laugh at them for posting ponies.

You weren't on the Project Crusade Forums to see what **** was going down, so you have no place to talk. Stick to your Biology, since you're not good at Civil Rights.

Yeah, I was banned by some faggot, I think, who randomly decided to go on someone admin's account.
Also, I'm too lazy to reset my I.P and I said I wouldn't go back. Don't really care too much for it. -Shrug-
