Check IGN. There are 5 character trailers, but I've confirmed the following characters:
Blossom
Bubbles
Buttercup
Chowder & Kimchi
Mac & Bloo
Dexter
Numbuh 1
Flapjack
Samurai Jack
Any I missed?
Given that there are 11 series represented, the following characters are all but confirmed:
Ben Tennyson
Billy/Mandy/Grim
Johnny Bravo
Captain Planet
Also, there will be only 18 playable characters (may be only for the 3DS version). There are also 19 assists.

I don't care WHAT you all say, a representive from "Sheep in the Big City" would be GREAT! Especially this guy:
He'd attack using the stuff he rants abouts and mentions in his rants. He'd hit people with Meatballs, Coffee Tables, Crisper Drawers, Shrimpola Cola, Vanilla Envelopes (Which incidentally DO NOT come from the Phillipens) and say "Suit Yourself" (In where the opponet is wearing a tacky suit).
An alternate cosumte for him would be the Ranting Norweigen, and his stage would the stage he preforms on, which the curtain occasionally going down.
He'd enter the stage riding a buffalo wearing plad.

Well, they mentioned that the potential console releases will have an expanded roster.
Also, an EXCLUSIVE video confirms the characters I said! (Except, Ben and Vilgax are from the later series, rather than the original Ben 10.) Also, Billy and Mandy are a team like Mac and Bloo or Chowder and Kimchi.
Which means.....1 secret character! (Which means the 18 +2 secret characters was false)
Speculation time! Is it Ed? Courage? Mordecai and Rigby? Finn and Jake (God forbid)?

Well, it appears Chowder is the new Kirby.
And final smashes seem to be in.

Chowder has an inhaling ability and a cooking super. Clearly CN played SSBB, saw those moves from Kirby, and said "Hey! Chowder could use moves like those!".
And did anyone notice "Giga Mojo" from the PPF Movie? Awesome.
