Hi guys

I am a CS student at Purdue, and a competitive Brawl player. All the same, the more important fact though you want to know:

I'm an artist.

I'm not like Card Game Sagas material, but I'm very particular about spritework and I love traditional and digital art. I was hoping I could be of some help? I used to make sprites all the time.

This is something from 2008 (most recent work) His name is Gemeni, a space animal (basically originated on an asteroid or comet that was inhabitable at the time of his birth).

This is my main character, Spectrum, an alter ego to my human character Krystedez.

If you couldn't already tell, I have preference to animal/mythical creatures. I can still do humans though, here's something (albeit a bit old)

Jay, a friend of mine's character.

Here's something in a different style.

Well that's all I have right now

Tell me what you think, I would like to help in any way I can and even though I haven't sprited in quite a long time, I feel like I can get back into it and make even better stuff. Let me know if this isn't the appropriate time or place for this kinda stuff, I really like the game, and I would like to see it's success for sure! (with or without my help lol)

Thanks guys! I'm not very savvy on who to talk to or what if I want to help though. I guess I could just say let you guys talk to me on what's needed? I'm sure one of them will notice this thread by the end of tomorrow.
	Originally the ruleset was 5-stock 6-minute 4-player FFA with all items on high, but after the TO saw my R.O.B. in the first round he changed it to a 6-minute KO fest "because the game isn't called Super Smash Brothers Run-away-and-time-your-opponents-out".

mmm... Marth/Roy... I'd try them, although the results will depend on the type of style or make up you want... Will Marth/Roy have sprite sheets that I must edit, or would you rather them from scratch/a specfic style?

Either way, I model off of other people's work (mostly for poses and that jazz). None of that will really get in my way though.

And what do you mean by SMBZ stage style? are you comparing mine to that great flash series? XD

I guess that would be up to you. I've never found decent Marth or Roy Sheets. To be honest. You can search around google if you'd like. I just picked them off the top of my head, But to be fair, We need any people from Brawl done, and Roy. So you dont have to do Marth or Roy. But I think we're in a pickle with them. Its up to you HOW you do it. Were just grateful for work.

And that's cool, I'll try to figure it out then. Any other characters that the main spriters come up with (a list would be nice of the priority ones and I can start on the ones I can finish the fastest

I dont think we have a Priority one. Just whoever gets in when we need them in is all. Were Trying to get all the Veteran Characters done first, Then announce and make more new comers. Due to a drastic alteration of the planned SSBC character roster, many of the characters featured in SSBC that did not appear in other Smash Bros. games have been replaced. After much discussion and reconsideration, one of the "Newcomers" on this list has been removed, but a representative of the same series will be revealed in its place. I am terribly sorry that we managed to announce information that turned out to be false, and I can safely say now that it will never occur again on these forums. However, keep in mind that the character portraits (images shown below) are subject to change due to changes in character styles that represent specific games. As well as changing some of the new characters featured in SSBC, we have also been making adjustments as far as which specific game characters of a certain franchise represent (i.e. Link will, from now on, take on his Ocarina of Time appearance rather than the formerly planned Skyward Sword appearance).
