Ende is the one on the right. Ende is the main character of Nintendo's new title, Pandora's Tower that has already been released in Japan. His main weapon is the Orichalcum Chain, a chain weapon different than any other character. He also uses a sword in the game as well. Pandora's Tower has received good scores over in Japan too, not to mention it's black case. So?

Unless they release it in America or it becomes relatively popular in America, I say nay. When talking about Japan only characters, you have to notice the popularity of the game with Americans, because this game is mainly meant for Americans/Europeans. A character like Tamagon might be more well known, due to him being a trophy or beta trophy in Melee and the Devil being an assist trophy in Brawl.

I have nothing against the person since I haven't played the game (this is pretty much the case with a lot of suggestions) but I'm going to bring up this point Phantom brought up with me: The game is too new for there to be any nostalgia.
Yup.

I was gone make a thread about this character, but then after some research I changed my mind. The story of Pandora's Tower sounds good if you ask me, but there are a few problems. One, this is a new series that just came out. Two, it is Japan only. And three, which to me seems to be the big problem is that this is not a Nintendo first party series. They are owned by Ganbarion, which I believe is a 3rd party development company that made Jump Ultimate Stars. A company that makes anime games. None the less, even as a 3rd party, this company is not deserving of a rep as much as major 3rd party companies like Konami, Sega, Capcom, Rare, Square, etc.

Perhaps this game will follow Super Mario Galaxy and be good enough for Smash? It is hurt by being Japan-only (right now), but viability and uniqueness are good for him.

IMO, though, representation and popularity are the most important of them, with viability being the least important.
Anyways, he seems like he might be a good expansion, though.

Isn't viability important?
The character from Super Monkey ball had good rep, popularity, and uniqueness, but low viability.

Viability is the least important, in my opinion, though it has a bit of importance. As DMX said, spriting (and probably the same to coding) didn't matter much, although it'd be part of viability. Moveset potential is kind of odd. Really, you could give a moveset to a Virus and it'd still make sense. How well they'd fit in the game, however, is more important, because of how well it'd look in the game. For instance, my old idea of Haunter would have low viability. He couldn't really jump, just rise.

Viability IS how well they'd fit in the game.
