10 Characters from F-Zero. This is not anything to get worked up about. Just wanted to see what people think.

Not voting because I don't really care about F-Zero. Just give my vote to whoever has the most at the end.

Black Shadow.

EDIT: Here, let me take the time to explain.

1. Samurai Goroh: One may think that he deserves it the most, being in the same number of games as Falcon and even being in Melee's opening and was an Assist Trophy in Brawl, right? WRONG. For one thing, Goroh only has a sword that he just swings around like a madman. Oh, and he's an acrofat. We already have plenty of swordsman and an acrofat (Wario). Oh and he supposedly has a laser gun too, but we already have plenty of gun slingers with the StarFox crew.
As for moveset potential, he has nothing that would make him unique unless someone just makes random s*** up. And they usually do with the whole "Captain Falcon has a made up moveset" argument, but here's the thing; Falcon's moveset didn't come out of the blue. His moveset was taken from the prototype Smash "Dragon King: The Fighting Game", as his model fit the characters' models. And with what Goroh DOES have, he is just dull and unecessary.

Oh, and he's often viewed as a joke.

2. Black Shadow: I'm not being biased, as I don't play F-Zero, but I know for a fact BS has a lot going for him. He's the main villain of the series (Deathborn may be higher up than him, but Deathborn isn't seen as often), has CANON powers (energy chains), a major antagonistic role in the anime (where he's given MORE powers that can be used), great popularity (most wanted F-Zero character for Smash in Japan), and overall serves to counter Falcon's "superhero" vibe in Smash.

3. Deathborn: Another great choice as he is the BIG BAD of Big Bads, but he's still relatively obscure among F-Zero characters. Black Shadow and Goroh have more relevance to the series than Deathborn.

4. Mighty Gazelle: A unique choice as he is a cyborg after he was in a major accident. Being a cyborg, he can be given unique abilities...however....he has NOT used any in the series, whereas BS and Goroh HAVE things to work with canon-wise.

5. Super Arrow: A REAL superhero unlike Falcon, however, with Falcon being more or less like a superhero is Smash, Super Arrow is unneeded.

6. Phoenix: Too obscure between the cast. To have him over the above characters, or Jody Summer, Dr. Stewart, Pico, Blood Falcon, Zoda, or Rick Wheeler would not be good.

7. Zoda: Although an iconic character (recurring antagonistic role in the anime), he is not too terribly popular and would be quite difficult to make a decent moveset for.

8. Jody Summer: A decent choice, and would make a good character with a unique style, however she is behind Goroh due to Goroh's veteran status and appearance in Smash.

9. The Skull: A semi-iconic character, but he still falls in the same category as Phoenix. Many other characters should be in before him.

10. Pico: Like Goroh, he's also a veteran, but like Dr. Stewart (who's strangely not on this poll), falls flat on representation that Falcon and Goroh shine on.

Eh, either Goroh or Black Shadow. I used to make a fuss about Goroh because he had more appearances in SSB, but that would be a fight mainly for SSB4. As for SSBC, I really don't give a rapo, since I honestly don't care whatsoever about F-ZERO.

Black Shadow would be awesome, and my personal pick. But I'm a dev, so I'm not voting.

The obvious choices are Goroh or Black Shadow. But that would be too obvious and expected. I'd prefer someone unexpected like Pico or Dr. Stewart, even though they make sense as well.

But alas, if it is Goroh or Black Shadow, I'm going with Black Shadow.

Goroh and Black Shadow are the mos reasonable choices right now so I'll vote for them.

I voted for Goroh. In my opinion, I feel he is more iconic and better known to the series than Black Shadow. Like if I had to come up with a F-Zero name other than Falcon out the blue, the first name comes to mind for me is Goroh. Plus he is one of the 4 most recurring characters.

Fox has lasers. Link has a sword. Wario is an acrofat. But only Goroh is all those guys put together. Sure he will pretty much be made up of other existing characters, but I think his individual attributes fit together so badly that he will be unique as a character. BS is good too, but pretty much everyone agrees with him, so I don't need to go further.

Black Shadow does have a special move already. He uses it in Chapter 6's opening scene in F-Zero GX. It would be such a good move.

You're talking the energy chains, right?

Also, don't forget that you still have the anime to go with for extra powers. (Teleporting, etc.)

Doesn't matter, we don't WANT Blood Falcon. We don't want a potential clone.
