that's not exactly what I meant sorry. I was prompting for some sort of extremely dangerous encounter by saying I should go inside at night and whatnot. Sorry for not being specific at all.
As Dane asks me this shadows start appearing from all parts of the town. Dane then goes back to his usual cowardly self and clings to my leg. There are so many, I don't think I could handle them all. These shadows must be far weaker than Phantasm though if they can't retain a physical form.
I start sprinting through town, Dane attached to me, swinging Darkness at the darkness. I then get surrounded by them and attempt to cut my path.

Fight Darkness with Darkness. Oh the irony.
I was gonna get to that, but you've avoided reading through a more terrifying description. Good for you!

You begin hacking your way through the shadows, four or more at a time even. However, they're respawning in droves, the number is quickly becoming too massive to comprehend. You can hear Benny faintly chuckling as you futilely cut down one shadow after another. *roll* Suddenly, you hear a gunshot. It sounds like it came from a... shotgun.
Almost immediately, you see shadows being blown to smithereens all around you. A man runs up to your side, reloads his shotgun, and says, "Need any help, stranger?"

Wrong bunny unless BENny is actually laughing at me which may I point out would be freaking creepy.
"If a human can stand up to these shadows I'll side by them" I say as I continue mowing down the endless army of shadows. The laughter although unnerving is almost non existent as I get a rush of adrenaline from the fight.

I actually once almost called Thumper Benny, as well.
The peculiar creature turns flat, and again I possess no idea where he could be. Unfortunatey, Thumper is hiding, petrified in the door, not going to be of assistance.
I hear a swift sidestep, and I slash in the direction I concur its coming from.

Did anyone actually use their FSP upon leveling up? I think one of you did. Whoever leveled up first.

No, Red also leveled up, but I don't think he used his FSP.
That reminds me, Phantom, you get 15 EXP for killing Phantasm again.

Then again, you could end up saving me...
I certainly wish El Maiz gets better soon. His loss has really lossed something inthe game.

Red, I'll just say you're there tomorrow. But in the mean time...

Dang it, why is everyone so good at narrowly escaping Random Encounters?
Phantom: *roll* As you continue to fight the massive number of shadows, you notice out of the corner of your eye that the man has just aimed the shotgun. At you.
*roll*
He fires. He's about 20 meters away, so you have a chance to dodge or block if you get a good enough roll. How do you plan to do so?

woah Generic, just saw the thing under your avatar. sorry about all that.
I see his attack just in time to get one move off. and that is plenty. I use my sword like an indestructible shield and attempt to block the bullets with it's bulk.

Yea, Mah budEl is sick.  Thumper cautiously comes out of the cavern. I start walking forward, sword in hand, wary of all my surrounding walls, prepared for any sudden pop-ups. I suddenly see a faint light up ahead. "Thumper," I announce, "I think we've found our way out!" He scurry up the stairs, and at the top, there are more stairs. They slowly head around in a curve to the top of the palace, where I am surprised to see a treasure chest on the top. And on top of that, there is a note. To whoever's reading this:
You must have removed all the shadows in this temple. Good job! This was a holy place to Muslim extremeists, like me."Good thing we didn't absolutely destroy them, eh, Thumper?" Inside this chest is a gun. It should gravitate to your inner aura and blast a powerful shot that has an almost positive chance of paralysization, if your aura is electricly energized. Plus, it will do damage equal to a slice of a sword, and powers up the more experience you gain when fighting enemies.
I wish you good luck, in whatever your quest may be, and wish you plenty of luck.

You whip your sword out in front of you in an attempt to block, but one bullet hits your arm. You take... 7 damage.
E. Adam: Too lazy to beat sacred grounds to watch the credits for the 17th time. I know it wasn't Shi Tsu though. Because the name is entirely different.
It sounds like getting the Polar Star if the gunsmith had given it to you, instead of you stealing it.

dosent matter if his sick becuse out of fear he has stayed with cd for right now until he gets better

Aaaand you get to me.
I encounter a strange, mysterious man in a black, shadow cape. I draw my gun, and Thumper hides behind my foot. This man appears to be part of the darkness them. Not knowing what could happen, I ask "Who are you?"
And suddenly, a fierce, strong man, probably about my age comes beside him, and another man, appearing similar to the first man appears as well.
