And I can think of a moveset right now, not copying sonic.
Special Down - Chaos Blast
Neutral - Chaos Spear
Side - Chaos Control
Up - Light Dash Attack.
Easy, done.

Half his moves would be like Sonic's? Does Sonic use guns? Or Chaos Control? Shadow is COMPLETELY different from Dark Sonic. I think he came first. No but perhaps the rest of his moves like his Smash or basic attacks may turn out like that. Not really saying he should never be made playable on cause of that purpose, but Dr Eggman is far more important in the story of the Sonic series than Shadow. I would go with Eggman over Shadow. But if we can have both, that would be something else. Though the Sonic series has enough reps if you ask me. Shadow came in before Dark Sonic? |

Dark Sonic was like 05 in Sonic X. Never in a game.

The Normal attacks are easy to differentiate. Besides, Shadow is a very popular character, with a different role than just "end boss".

OK so Shadow makes sense in a way and was in before Dark Sonic, but is there anything we can do with Eggman, I feel that he was always an important character and cant just leave him out un-noticed

I'm almost 100% sure he's in. But thats not from hearing things. Thats from Gut instinct.  I may be an admin, but I dont get the inside scoop from inside the development. |

At least two devs said that Shadow was in. Also, I THINK that Eggman is in, but they may have changed the roster since then.

I can't comment on any of this... However, I'm sure Shadow was supposedly leaked at some point via sprite sheet or something. But still, I can't say for sure whether either of them are in.

And I am 1000% positive one of you said it. But it was before the new roster. No comment... But Metal Sonic would be cool. I've always wanted to have him in Smash. He would just make a good opponent for Sonic. I agree with you on this. |

And anyone who says Shadow has to have a gun in Crusade or ANY future Smash or even SONIC title, you aren't real Shadow fans. Only one character should have a gun, and that's Fang. |
