No prob. And yeah, the B/W Stadium stage would work fine also. I personally don't feel the need for Zoroark to have her own stage, since none of the other pokemon have their own specialized stages. Just Saffron City for now, but Falcon's working on Pokemon Stadium and SMBZ1 (I think that's his username) is working on B/W Stadium.

Also, can you describe what this B/W Stadium is like? Will it be like the previous Pokemon Stadium stages where they transform into different elements, or are we expecting something different?

Think of it more like a fusion between Pokemon Stadium/2 and Spear Pillar.
It goes through White Forest and Black City, and also, Reshiram and Zekrom appear on the stage at times as hazards.

But Lucario's power-up affects all his attacks by two times at max. Claw Sharpen would just raise the power of her jab, tilts, and smashes by 1.5x. EDIT: And her aerials. EDIT AGAIN: It would wear off after a certain amount of time, or possibly after taking a certain amount of damage. An idea to this: Instead of taking away a bit of the health, how about a bit of the fs meter? She'd easily get it back anyways.

Zen, zoo badz for youz. [/Hitler] Then, I think it should do one of three things: A. Not do anything at all. B. Lower HP. C. Recoil.

Lower HP meaning taking percent. One other thing it could do is (rather ironically, since it raises attack and accuracy) make her slide while attacking, which would make it harder to get consecutive hits in for combos, along with making it harder to control yourself.

In the pokemon games it just wasted a turn in which you could choose to do something else, like an attack.
It should just be laggy.

I saw the movie yesterday, and I enjoyed it. Although I was more excited to see Entei than I was to see Zoroark.
Funny thing is, I would say at random moments "And.....cue Entei" and Entei would appear. (Either Illusion or Shiny)

hey guys, you think it is possible to use the sprites of Zoroark from the black & white pokemon game instead of making a Zoroark sprite of our own?

We'd still have to make new animations.

And it'd need MAJOR, MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR editing. All we have right now is the stance. And at that, it doesn't really fit with all the other characters... And what I've seen for smash edits of Pokemon sprites, straight from the game, all seem to be bad.

I was working on making night burst a while ago. That was my original plan after Ralord and Falcon said they'd be making their own moveset. I have rips if you need them. And a workable base.
Yes, it does take a large amount of editing. I spent an hour making the legs more even on the ground when I started. I'll be back with what I've got so far in a bit.

K, I'd like to bring this thread back to life to prove a point: Zoroark is the most deserving Pokemon newcomer for Crusade. Why? I'm about to explain that. 1. In the original Smash Brothers, the two (obviously new) Pokemon were Pikachu and Jigglypuff, representing Red and Blue, which were the newest games at the time (not counting Yellow). In Melee, Pichu joined in to represent the newest generation, which was 2nd Gen at the time. It may have also had to do with Pichu being Masuda's favorite Pokemon at the time. In the interval between Melee and Brawl, both 3rd AND 4th generations came out. 4th gen was the newest and most relevant at the time, so Lucario was chosen as the rep for a new generation, while 3rd gen got a number of Pokeballs (Deoxys, Jirachi, Groudon, Kyogre) and a boss in the Subspace Emissary (Rayquaza). Fire Red and Leaf Green were the most recent remakes, and thus they got a rep as well in Pokemon Trainer. What generation is most recent and relevant now? 5th. Who's the most likely rep for that? Zoroark, with Victini as a VERY close second. Zoroark was the first 5th generation Pokemon revealed, along with Zorua. One of the big reasons Victini would have a good chance is because it's now Masuda's favorite Pokemon, like Pichu was in Melee's time. tl;dr for point 1: The most recent generation is ALWAYS represented. 5th generation is the most recent, and Zoroark is the most likely choice for a 5th gen rep. 2. Pokemon Black and White are the most well-received Pokemon games in the main series. Don't believe me? Here's the scores for Gold and Silver, as well as Heart Gold and Soul Silver, which Gold Trainer would represent. Here's the scores for Red and Blue as well as Ruby and Sapphire, which, along with Gold and Silver, are what Rival would represent. And now here's Black and White for comparison. tl;dr for point 2: Pokemon Black and White were more well-received games than the others in the main series. 3. We already have a spriter. RaLord. Here's the thread he was showing the sprites in, although it hasn't been updated in a while. The same can't be said for Rival OR Gold Trainer. Not only that, they'd need three times more sprites than Zoroark, all fully custom. Convinced yet?

Again, why not have both? If you noticed, Smash ALWAYS has two new Pokemon reps per game.

I'm proving that if it's either-or, it has to be Zoroark. If we COULD have Zoroark and Gold Trainer that would be friggin' awesome, but I doubt it'll happen.

cause they both have that mystical air about them. Plus, yeah they're both associated with BW.
So how are you putting Zoroark's Illusion ability into this? Is he gonna start off as another character? Is it not gonna exist at all? What?
