Because you implied that because I didn't know something about a game I never played, whatever I say about a video game is doubtful.
I might as well say that you're wrong about the popularity because you don't know who XJ0461 is.
But like I said, the argument is pointless.

Mike Hagger seems to make more sense than Frank West. But I would still pick Arthur out of all 3 of them

And lets not forget that Arthur has the nostalgia factor (Oldest game of the 3) and he's already practically got sprites. Not to mention he'd play super differently.

I hate nostalgia.
People can't let go of the fact that a game was fun then, but sucks now by comparison.
I wouldn't be amiss to all three of them. They all sound fun.

Nostalgia could mean yearning for the past time you played a new game. It'd give the feel of remembrance of something before, making you want to play that. For instance, having arthur in would remind people of his game, and go play it. Not necessarily a new one.
What does everybody think about my idea for a up special?

I hate to disagree with you el maiz, but it seems (To me) that all nowadays games are mostly crap and the glory days (IMO) were the SNES days.
And I dunno about that Up Special Generic. It seems.... Off. To me.

I like both old and new games, but some in both categories to me seem a bit bad. Moreso in the new than old, though. I assume that nintendo is realizing that, and that's why they"re making so many 3D ports.
The only other up special I can think of is similar, but he grabs a tornado creature from ghouls n' ghosts, captures him in a tornado, and drops him off at a later level.

True, Arthur is the oldest...and his games are NOTORIOUS... But Haggar ALSO has sprites (from various Final Fight titles and the Slammasters series, where he was a guest star). And likewise, Haggar would play super differently from Arthur or Frank, as well as the rest of the cast, so that really isn't a good argument. Whatever said for Arthur (nostalgia, sprites, and uniqueness) could be said for Haggar. But this isn't Haggar's topic. I support Arthur, but I support Haggar more, TBH.

Haggars sprites would stick out more. Arthur's are pretty matchy. @_@

Well, they aren't as bad as Goku or Megaman IMO, but I see what you mean.
However, Arthur seems limited in moveset.
Wait! IDEA: Up B: Red Arremer/Firebrand lifts him up.
