So there are these two great games that a bunch of people have been bugging me to play. They're both about 20 bucks, but I'm only going to buy one if I decide to buy one at all. Minecraft is... well, Minecraft. 'Nuff said. But a large portion of my Anime Club plays TF2 on one server, and I've watched and been amazed at how fun it looks.
So if you had to choose, which would you pick?
Already got Minecraft, this thread is now...

Dude. Minecraft. I've been playing it for about a month now and I still love it. Not to mention you could play with me. =D
TF2 is a standard FPS with a couple witty jokes and whatnot. But Minecraft... Its just awesome. You build stuff and craft things, creating houses weapons and whatnot. Defending your little houses during the night against monsters until the sun comes out again, then you resume working on your house or town. Or you can just turn it to peaceful and play without monsters and just build stuff to your hearts content. Note that it also has customizable skins and textures, mods, and other great stuff. And a very friendly online community. And its not even finished yet!

Eh, I'm starting to lean towards Minecraft anyways. To be honest, I've never actually been that good at FPS games. Although I'm REALLY tempted to be a spy just because of the "Meet the Red Spy" short they made.
EDIT: Just got Minecraft. I'll just wait for TF2 to go on sale, cause apparently it goes on sale really often, and I'd rather buy it at half price than full. Time to test it out!

Basically, get TF2 if you want a super fun FPS and get Minecraft if you want to get sucked in forever.
I had to actually stop playing; it pretty much took over my life for a bit. >_<

So yeah. I decided to build a house on top of a canopy because there were two conveniently placed trees and I thought it would be cool. Suddenly the sky got dark. About a minute later...
"SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS*KAAABOOOOOOOM*"
I then had to fight my way through Zombies, whatever those hissy things are, and some guy shooting arrows at me to get back to the canopy. After I got back, I built a landmark so I could find it.

I think the exploding things are called creepers.
If you get a good look, they kinda look like... nah, I won't say.

You just get a server IP and go to multiplayer and type it in. I have a server I go to alot.
I'll just jot down the IP here.
212.247.118.15
Its a 24/7 Server. So you can join whenever. It plays just like the actual game, except theres other people around. The rules are no Griefing, (Intentionally breaking other peoples creations) or flaming/trolling people.
I'm on usually in the early morning or late evenings.

Alright. I was on for a bit Thursday, but for some reason my EXE crashes every so often, which is annoying.
And yes, I know I can play in-browser, that's what I've been doing.
EDIT: Uh, I can't find where we died. That place is huge. Does the stuff disappear after a while?
EDIT AGAIN: And it looks like Minecraft is down right now...

I'm just finished moving my desk from one room to another, so I won't be able to do anything for another half hour or so while I get all my cords straight and stuff like that.
BTW, go down as far as you can in that mine, I saw some redstone and other stuff.
