So Minecraft Beta 1.4 came out today, and it included wolves! ;D
I've tamed 4 so far (would've tamed the whole pack of 7 if I hadn't turned all my bones into bone meal before the update).
I'm lucky that my spawn and house is within a minute or two of a Taiga biome.

EDIT: Well, I was just on for a couple hours. I made an awesome viewpoint-like place in top of that mountain, and there's a path to it if you want to check it out.

So I made a bunch of progress on "Dune Town".
My house has a second floor and a lighthouse coming out from the top, Town Hall has been massively expanded (two floors and double the ground area it takes up, and has a pier jutting out the back if we ever get fishing rods), the path from Spawn now goes all the way to the sign to the right of Town Hall, and I found another lava pool while digging around, so we should have more than enough to finish the Portal Shrine.
In the same cavern-area that I found the lava pool (which can be accessed through the mineshaft in our mountain house), I found two diamond and something like 8 iron. In the same place.

Yup.

You can check the thread for some of the other stuff I did if you can't get on for a bit.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that it takes almost exactly 4 minutes and 30 seconds to go from one end of the path to the other.

Great. Seems like that town is coming close to completion or just going to have to expand soon. ;3

Fixed my house up a bit too. Doesn't look like its been there for a trillion years anymore, uh.. Got one side of the Portal Shrine done..

I was on for nearly 4 hours today...
Well, I found a cavern that goes down DEEP and there's a lot of lava pools. so we should be able to finish the shrine.
I also found two and a half stacks of iron, 18 gold, and some medium amount of Lapis down there. And coal. Lots of coal.
Btw, you now have 29 pieces of blue wool in your chest.

EDIT: Pastaman was on earlier today. He gave me a full stack of pumpkins ;D
He was like "What do you think is the hardest thing to find in Minecraft?"
I said "Diamond. No, wait. Pumpkins."
Then he said "Ok. Watch this." and spawned a chest filled with pumpkins, then offered to give me a stack.
I definitely should've said Diamond or Lapis XD

EDIT AGAIN:
NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHTS you didn't get on at all today.
Also, pastaman is making me an admin.
Also also, Dune Town has a store.
Also also also, we have a crapload of pumpkins (and therefore, Jack o' Lanterns) now.
