The time has come to talk about Ike! The strongest swordsman in history. Who else can hold a two-handed sword with only one?

Phantom can. nevermind, this is my bro's all time favorite character. That basically means I'm the most pro person at beating him.

Lol.
But I don't think he can slam into the ground to make the molten material rise up or make a blade stay randomly in the same place in the mid air and jump faster than a blink of an eye to go up there in still the same position and slam down, not caring about physics at all.

Who else can hold a two-handed sword with only one? Angeal Hewley, Zack Fair, Cloud Strife, and Sephiroth, to name a few.I'm really interested in how he'll come out. I don't plan on maining him because he's too heavy and slow, but when I went around and tried out each swordsman in Brawl (Link, Toon Link, Marth, Meta Knight, and Ike), Marth and Toon Link ended up fitting my play style. It's fun to mess around with him though. Oh yeah: "But I don't think he can slam into the ground to make the molten material rise up" Zack and Cloud can with Meteorain, and Sephiroth can chuck meteors at you. But enough about the Compilation.

understandable. These big spritesheets take time and editing is actually more time consuming than doing from scratch sometimes. It's at least a lot more just busywork and repetitiveness.

You'll probably want to make a thread in the art corner.

Hecks no. The thread of his sprites said that they'll try to keep him as same as possible.

Ike's my personal favorite swordsman in Brawl. Honestly, I think he is really good and I tend to do better with Ike than the other sword-slingers.

Apparently, jab locks don't exist in 1.0. Which murders Ike's close-range combat. If Ike comes in, there are just a couple of changes I'd want. Eruption's charge should be saved, like Charge Shot or Donkey Pawnch. It has vertical knockback, so you can't follow it up and therefore won't be that broken. Also, Quick Draw shouldn't put him in a helpless animation if he hits his mark (you can program it like Falcon Dive). In Brawl, you could kill Ike just by getting in the way of that move. Finally, his forward smash should be more powerful. That move's too epic not to be used competitively

Fsmash should be FASTER, not more powerful.
And he better be better than Brawl Ike, or I'll be as mad at him as I am at Falcon.

You'll get no sympathy from me, because I fight for my friends!
Now prepare yourself.
Not owning brawl, I can't really commend, though he should be fun to play as.

Apparently, jab locks don't exist in 1.0. Which murders Ike's close-range combat. In v. 1.0, I'm aiming for the -3 to 0 range of frame advantage on the first hits of Jabs. So, Jab locks could be possible if your opponent is unsuspecting. That move's too epic not to be used competitively Eruption: I'll think about it. Eruption is pretty powerful even if you have the slightest charge time, and it has a huge hitbox. Quick Draw: That's definitely an option. Forward Smash: I doubt it will be stronger, but perhaps faster.

Yeah, that palette seems fine. But then again, I can't really tell unless it is on the sprite itself. Though I wouldn't have saved it as bmp.
