I don't. Or a PS3.

If I get this game, I'll probably main Zero, Super-Skrull, and Iron Man, Phoenix, or Magneto. I'd make the 3rd be Arthur, but he barely has any simple commands.

Things like Quarter Circle Forward aren't hard to learn. You just do down, then forward, then attack.

But that's it. Moving the joystick to make a move just doesn't appeal to me. Had there not been a simple command, I wouldn't even give it a passing thought.

It's almost the same as in Smash. Just one more direction.

It really isn't difficult at all. Just practice a bit and it'll become as natural as breathing.
Yay for my amazing arcade stick!
I also am still not sure if I want to get this... I just don't like it as much as Blazblue.
Yay again for ps3!

Yay for my amazing arcade stick! Yes, yay! I like it. I also am still not sure if I want to get this... I just don't like it as much as Blazblue. Yay again for ps3! I think Marvel's a good game. There's a lot of strategy that goes into building effective teams (well, ideally, there is ). If you had the chance to really sit down with the game, you'd be playing it for a while. I might pick up Blazblue to practice on just so you don't ingloriously crush me every time we play... ;D

It's a great game.

He probably just doesn't play very much. ^ This. I don't play much online because my internetz are fail. I have been messing around with Beserker Charge combos with Wolverine and have found some pretty sick stuff. I also now have a 720,000 damage combo with Dormammu that only requires a Dante - Jam Session assist and 1 Hyper. ;D As Dormammu says, "BEWARE!" Although I haven't played with human players enough lately... Stupid school. So, who are your mains?

I still don't have the game, but I'm looking at Dante, Haggar, Thor.

jam session actually wouldn't be that hard to combo off of!! Assists are actually probably my biggest weak point aside from using frail weaklings. Ami's cold star is really all I use but I've been considering switching it to solar flare. Any suggestions?

jam session actually wouldn't be that hard to combo off of!! Not to mention it's Dante's most useful assist. The combo I have goes like this: Cr. L -> Cr. M -> Finger Shot -> St. H -> Finger Shot -> S -> air M -> air M -> air H -> air S -> Call Dante Assist -> Red Carpet (DF + H, hits OTG) -> Dark Hole L -> Chaotic Flame Hyper Assists are actually probably my biggest weak point aside from using frail weaklings. Ami's cold star is really all I use but I've been considering switching it to solar flare. Any suggestions? Cold Star is a great long-range pressure assist. Many other projectiles will eat right through it, though. I've seen Zero on point with Ammy's Cold Star assist, and man, he can apply wicked pressure that way using Hienkyaku (his dash special). Ammy's projectile counter assist also has potential. It just depends on your team!

Also a question of a non-MvC3 player. Who is the best cahracter for begginers? Ryu is, as always pretty easy to pick up. Captain America, Deadpool, Iron Man, and Wolverine are pretty intuitive on a basic level as well. Just go to training mode and see who you like!

I've seen Zero on point with Ammy's Cold Star assist, and man, he can apply wicked pressure that way using Hienkyaku I am trying this as soon as I get home, that sounds SO good. characters for beginners? I would recommend Hulk because he's not the biggest combo-er and he takes hits like no other. Ryu is just plain amazing also and his hypers are in my opinion some of the best.
