Amaterasu is, IMO, best character in the game, except maybe Taskmaster.

Amaterasu is, IMO, best character in the game, except maybe Taskmaster. Interesting. I think Ammy's great, too. She's flexible, with the three different weapons, and she does good damage, and has above-average mobility. And Okami Shuffle is just awesome. Played with a couple of friends, who had not played it before, and one of them seemed indifferent, and the other was instantly disgusted at the game and suggested we play Brawl instead. Fortunately, Brawl proved to be fun, but I don't get it. This guy also plays Marvel 2 and SSF4. I know a lot of players like this, who are veterans of MVC, but refuse to play 3. |

I think that MVC3 is more enjoyable if you played TVC rather than MVC2.

I think that MVC3 is more enjoyable if you played TVC rather than MVC2. Yeah, that's possible. MVC3 is basically TVC without Baroque and with 3 vs 3 teams and X-Factor. And crazy characters. |

I frankly think that X-Factor should be replaced with a variation of Baroque. Maybe able to use to cancel even blockstun but only a boost as long as you are comboing them? As well as more than one use.

i played tvc and mvc2 ] but i still love mvc3
well cant say i love it since it dosent have megaman for some strange reason
[played first one marvel vs capcom but didn't like it for some reason]

Yeah. I think that the only reason he's seen as "cheap" is because he's easy to learn, and you can play him the same way as in MVC2.
The real cheap one looks to be Ammy for me.

At least Ammy's not terribly easy to use effectively. You can be cheap with her, but her good combos and pressure take a lot of weapon switching and just good judgment. Cheap would be like running away with Deadpool. Why do I say this? Cause it's too good. And it doesn't take a lot of effort. |

What's funny about her is that the part I like about her is her versatility, and yet I basically just do the same thing with her with paper or counters chucked in small places. I need to learn the other weapons aside from the first one better.

I need to learn the other weapons aside from the first one better. Yeah, me too. I rely too much on her offensive pressure in the first weapon mode. The whip one is great for dealing with Sentinel-like opponents, I know that. Not too sure about the glaive, though. |
