In a recent interview with IGN, Capcom’s Christian Svensson was asked why we haven’t heard anything about Marvel vs Capcom 3 downloadable content. Sven could only reply with; “I’m going to ask you to wait and see. We have been more radio silent than I would like us to be.”
i think in july 20 [comic con] they will either announce new DLC or release new DLC im hoping for more stages and character's

I'm rooting for CapCom (The only character I could stand in MVC2) and Moon Knight. Or maybe Luke Cage. He'd play too much like Haggar, though.

And data. Remember that they said they were working on Frank, but had to axe him because some of his moves needed extra time?
They got the extra time. No doubt Frank has been worked on.

If they ARE going to do more DLC, the first characters that come to mind are the characters in the data. NOT characters that have no data, like Megaman or Venom. They would do those AFTER the characters in the data if at all. The fact that Frank and Dok Ock have data means they have something to work with already. |

Just because they didn't FIND anything doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
They had said that they WORKED on Frank West, but problems arose with some moves.
Now, in order for that to happen, he would need a MODEL, don't you think?
Empty file =/= nonexistant file
Take Brawl for example. Mewtwo had quite a bit of data in Brawl that was rendered blank when he was cut.
Developers do this all the time so that hackers can't use unused data.
You're probably going to counteract with Jill and Shuma, who are DLC, but still had usable data in the game for hackers. The difference here, is that they were planned for DLC shortly after the game was released, whereas Frank and Dok Ock had no such plans and would be released far later.
It's the same issue with Dee Jay and T. Hawk in SFIV, only instead of DLC, they were included in the remake.

It's completely illogical that they would cut a character for a reason. They probably just cut him so that he could be DLC.

I don't see the point in arguing about this...I say just wait and see.
Anyway, comic con is on my birthday!? Er, wow. If they do release DLC for the game there, that would be an odd phenomenon, since I'm getting a 360 with MVC3...
Well, not that odd.
I just hope Gold's at least right about Frank West. Adding Dr. Octo will just give me another ass to kick. =p
