It's not opinion, it's based on how well the person does in the match, which in turn is determined by the damage done/taken, stock left, and so forth.
Lol generic, no wonder it lagged like crap. You're running Vista XD Not bad, not bad.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pavcLmYaq0a pitiful performance by me but Knucks didn't do much better. I didn't know how to cut out background noise so you get some very nice commentary from me and my bros (deep voice=me). ENJOY!! EDIT: Moton An put the banhammer on my vid because I broke rules on accident. This is not my real submission. You probably already know this though because he explains it directly under it.

Bumping because people kind of need to DO THEIR MATCHES ALREADY.
OR YOU WILL ALL BE DQ'ED AND GENERIC WILL WIN BY DEFAULT. Unless I choose to enter as the sole opposing challenger. :'D

@detta: Are you judging winner by conventional tourney method, biggest lead? Referring to most stock, if the same, least damage. Or will you include other factors? Least damage taken makes more sense imo, but I'm just curious on how you're judging exactly, and I'm sure the competitors could benefit from the info as well.

"Two people will be fighting to beat the CPU most prominently; basically, the person who kills the fastest/has the most lives/other factors like that will win and move on into the next bracket." The OP has the information required. I always make sure of that. Basically, if one person has more stock than the other, they get the victory. If they have the same stock, it goes to damage taken/given, time spent on the match, and other similar factors.

Ok. I did read the OP, but it was just a bit unclear. By time spent, are you saying it's better for someone to complete faster (in this tournament)? Depending on character and strategy, sometimes there are advantages to taking your time in a match, especially for projectile camping or other similar methods of play (maybe this factor could be lenient, depending on whether time taken was a matter of low performance, or a part of the players strategy). For Damage Given, that's obvious, you were able to land more hits (I would lump this one and hit percentage together), but for Damage Taken, that could go either way. If the stock is the same at match end, then less damage taken means you weren't hit as much, but higher means you were able to survive longer and at higher percents, which could hint at the other player walking into avoidable smashes and kill moves, dying at lower percents.
But then again, probably won't have any matches come close enough to go this in depth into it anyway lol, kinda went on a tangent there

No, that's certainly OK. But, consider this: Both players end the match with 3 stock each. One took 15% damage, the other took 100%. Despite the fact that the second survived to a higher percent, it's obvious that the other should win because he didn't take the damage in the first place. Of course, this could be effected by gimping the CPU, but that would be taken into account if it happens.

my new vid should be up in 20 minutes. I did really well in the last 5 seconds of it which made up for my decent performance everywhere else. I had two attempts before this one but the recording didn't work for one and uploading didn't work for the other. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fErBbE-PpNQhere it is.

@detta: By damage taken I meant the sum of all damage, the stat on victory screen, not damage takne for the last life. On actual results, Most stock, least damage wins IMO. So in your scenario, player with 15% wins, and i don't think that should change because of gimps. If they were able to properly set up and execute a gimp, shouldn't they be rewarded for that?
