Ok, so they were rivals, but that was only the 2 TV series that they were rivals. When it came down to video games, you can't even compare the 2.

By the way, it's phenomenon.
But yeah, that is an accurate statement. I agree with Golden.

The only way I see Digimon as a reliable choice is if we run out of 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Party characters to choose from.

Digimon IS 3rd party.

Exactly. If it weren't, I wouldn't bother requesting Agumon.

And dont we have plenty of 3rd parties as it is?

No, because none are Agumon. :3

But the Digimon games were made by Namco Bandai and a mix of other lesser known 3rd parties, and we have way better Namco reps than Agumon. Pac Man, Lloyd Irving, and others are much better choices.

Ah, but not one from BANDAI, which is the orignal creator of Digimon.

Namco and Bandai are now one though

Who cares? It just seems to me you're arguing about this for the sake of arguing.
You've already made your point. Enough.

Its not for the sake of arguing. Its that I feel this is not a worthy character to be in Smash Bros, so Im getting my point across without leaving behind anymore specific details to support my argument.

Is this just because I don't support Laughing Dog?

Lol, ofcourse not.
I would not debate against your opinion with the act of revenge. I just seriously disagree with this choice of character, regardless who suggested the idea.
Im just expressing my opinion.

I see.
Well, does any Developer have anything to say about Agumon? Or will they ignore it? I find that rude, as they commented on Ancient Minister and Laughing Dog....

...because we confronted Phantom, DMX, Falcon and Werekill upfront about them? Go ahead, shoot the four of them a PM and see what they think. Maybe you'll have more luck than the two of us did.

You did? I thought this whole time that they read through the boards and posted what they felt....
Well, I'm off.

Where did you think all that stuff came from on the Minister's thread that completely killed his chances of getting in? And I think SmashKing just bugged Phantom about it. A lot. I just sent him one PM when everything was finished, then argued with him a bit before giving up for the time.

Actually, to go into more details on how I got the attention of the dev. about Duckhunt Dog/Laughing Dog, I had PM'd DMX first after I had made the poll. He agreed with me that he would be an interesting candidate for Crusade, but told me that it was not up to him though. This was on the old forum.
Shortly after the new forum was made, I reposted the poll and PM'd Phantom only once, after I got enough positive votes. It took a while for his response and thats when he gave his thoughts of my suggestion on the poll. He went against it even though Duck Hunt Dog had 10 out of 16 positive votes.
Golden, if you seriously feel that Agumon is a good candidate, then don't hesitate on asking the dev. I know it feels awkward bothering them, but if you feel strongly about this choice, then honestly what do you have to lose? Your only giving a suggestion, which really shouldn't be an issue to the dev. if all your doing is helping them out with their roster.
By the way, didn't falcon8r already give his thoughts on Agumon?

He went against it even though Duck Hunt Dog had 10 out of 16 positive votes. I'm pretty sure no one on the forum didn't want the minister in, and DMX and Falcon both wanted him in as well. Yet Phantom still said he was a horrible choice after three days of argument. He doesn't seem to take into account the popularity of a character on the forum or even with the other devs in some cases. But this isn't the place to argue about that. Good luck, Golden. Godspeed.
