B) Neutral Special: Would work if the bombs block lasers, but I don't think that's the case. Saki shields and continues lasering. This is assuming Bomberman only uses one bomb. He can spam back at Saki, so that's not really a valid tactic

I think "spamming" neutral B is risky for both sides in the Saki vs. Bomberman matchup. If played well, Saki's B may prove to be more useful for long-range damage, but Bomberman's fast Bomb Kick can punish or edgeguard from a mile away and actually make the opponent flinch.

The thing is, that Saki can shield the bombs to eliminate damage completely and still shoot in between. Bomberman really doesn't have a good answer to lasers.

However, Saki's lasers don't make Bomberman flinch, so he can still close the gap by jump-forward + Side B/Neutral B. Although I still think that at long range, Saki has an advantage.

C) Approaching: Works best if used with option B, but when Saki feels lasers are no longer safe it will turn to hand to hand where Bomberman is again at a disadvantage because of range issues. Saki's damage will come from lasers and the occasional melee attack. EDIT: Also, why is this not in individual character discussion? I thought that covered it. Unless your point is that Bomberman is even with Saki at close range?

Not really. I'd say it goes like this:
Bomberman wants to be at medium range. He can toss bombs from there using his Side B pretty effectively, since Saki can only reflect them using Down B. Bomberman can also get surprise attacks using Forward Smash due to its range, along with short-hopped Forward and Neutral Air attacks. Saki's only answers to those attacks, Forward and Down Smashes, are quite risky, whereas Bomberman can make his options safe with proper spacing.
The problem is, Saki is extremely mobile and can simply jump around/dash to reset the spacing. When the two are far away, I'd say it is slightly in Saki's favor, and when in close, slightly in Saki's favor also. This matchup may actually be kind of tough for Bomberman.

Yeah, I can agree with that totally.

The reason why i think Bomberman has an advantage is because of his DownB. Once Bomberman starts putting down the bombs, Saki has to get around them fastly. The location where i think Saki has a disadvantage is when Bomberman starts Dropping the bombs (air Down B). One after the other and because of its somewhat high killing power, these are legit at high damage. And also, Saki cant reflect Droped bombs (only Fox can).

He can block them.
Or just move around them.

Actually, dropped bombs are fairly easy to avoid. Not to mention the act of dropping them is extremely punishable, especially by a fast character like Saki

Megaman is NOT -3 against Bomberman. He has fast moves to hit him when close, and Bomberman cannot do a thing from long range.

I think up close Bomberman has a slight advantage. Their range seems to be about the same, but I think Bomberman is a bit faster. I don't have the frame data to know for sure, though. From a distance I'd say Megaman has the advantage. Mid range, I'd say it's still really close, but only If Megaman is using Tornado Hold. It's a temoporary bomb blocker and gives time to charge the buster. On the other hand, It's also good for Bomberman because that's the best range to use his side special. On a side note, I considered Leaf Shield, but it seems too slow and too short to be effective here, though it's arguably better for mid range if it's only used for defense.
Also, platforms can really give Bomberman an advantage if used correctly. With that I'd say it's even to a slight advantage for Bomberman depending on the stage.
EDIT: I actually think Bomberman might be better suited as a support in doubles, where the bomb drop and ice bomb might be more useful

Bomberman seems to have more reliable close-range A attacks, but from a distance, Mega Man is golden with his variety of ranged weapons, especially Tornado Hold.

Actually, Megaman's A moves have more range. I'd say they indeed come pretty close.

Especially after the buffs to Megaman's range.
