Well, why have AM when R.O.B. is there (first of all)? Second, he doesn't fit with the other characters at all, nor does he represent Smash well enough. In fact, no one represents Smash Bros. better than Master Hand, but we know he won't be playable do to being the final boss.

Because they aren't the same guy.
WHY HAVE LUIGI WHEN WE HAVE MARIO?
And second, how does Ristar fit? How does Mach fit? How does Snake fit?
And represent Smash "Well enough"?
He's the best choice for a smash rep.

Because they aren't the same guy. And DMX, don't pull the old "AM is ROB, durr hurr", because our ROB is the american one. AM is the japanese one.WHY HAVE LUIGI WHEN WE HAVE MARIO? And second, how does Ristar fit? Quite well, actuallyHow does Mach fit? Less, but around C.Falcon'sHow does Snake fit? Not at all.And represent Smash "Well enough"? He's the best choice for a smash rep.

DMX, I thought you were the one who suggested and began working on recoloring R.O.B.'s sprites to be R.O.B. and not the Famicom Robot. And I thought this was partially so that we would have the argument of them being different robots. And to add on to all the comparisons, why have Toon Link when we already have Link? Or ZSS when we have Samus? In fact, comparing ZSS and Samus is exactly the same as comparing the Ancient Minister and R.O.B. because the only differences for both pairs are that one has (more) clothes and they have a slightly different moveset.
Ok, let's say he doesn't represent Smash Bros. Then he represents Subspace Emissary, which was long enough to be considered its own game. And as I showed before, it has gotten GREAT reviews.
At this point, you're simply re-iterating what Phantom has already said multiple times, and I (along with a few others) have already disproved these reasons to the point of them being entirely invalid. At least come up with a new reason, because I refuse to accept the ones you keep throwing at me.

And I thought this was partially so that we would have the argument of them being different robots. I think I like Japanese R.O.B. better. Zero Suit Samus is more Smash-Worthy. She represents Metroid and is a transformation of Samus, not a separate character. Young Link is a completely different Link anyways. Are you saying they shouldn't be in Smash Bros? Ok, let's say he doesn't represent Smash Bros. Then he represents Subspace Emissary, which was long enough to be considered its own game. And as I showed before, it has gotten GREAT reviews. IGN said that the enemies for the Story Mode were uninspired. Isn't AM an enemy. At this point, you're simply re-iterating what Phantom has already said multiple times, and I (along with a few others) have already disproved these reasons to the point of them being entirely invalid. At least come up with a new reason, because I refuse to accept the ones you keep throwing at me. How about this: He's a stupid idea for a character, has no moveset potential whatsoever (you think he'll fight with little pins on his robes?), he reminds most people of the dreadful SSE, he doesn't fit on the roster, and there's no space for him.

No, he's not saying that they shouldn't be in Smash. Don't be an idiot. YOU might as well be saying that.

Not adding on to the argument, this is just a simple question to DMX. ;D
If Ancient Minister is not planned for the roster, then is there any chance of him being involved in any way in Crusade?
For example, you guys say Duck Hunt Dog will not be playable, but will be a background character for the Duck Hunt stage. Will we see Ancient Minister have any role in this game if not made playable?

Are you saying they shouldn't be in Smash Bros? No, because you're going off of the assumption that I'm saying they shouldn't be in because the minister isn't in. I'm saying the opposite; your "he's the same character" reason is invalid for refusing his acceptance because we have characters like that. And you don't think they were talking about the Primids and the rest of the Subspace Army? The Ancient Minister was an antagonist, not an enemy in the sense of a Primid. You never even fight him. In order: 1. No, he's not. Sakurai created him for a reason. Are you insulting Sakurai? 2. WHAT. WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN. Lasers, kunai, the R.O.B. Squad, rocket boosters. He has more to work with than a lot of characters you say are better than him. And the brooch is only used in one move, as a reflector shield. 3. HOW MANY TIMES MUST I SAY THIS. The SSE may be dreadful in your opinion, but if this game is being made for the fans, there are a lot of people who thought it was great. 4. There's a bunch more characters that fit less than he does. 5. There would be if you let him be an alt-select for R.O.B., and a lot of people agree that some room could be made. I don't even care if he ends up as DLC, I'd just like him in the game. And you're still just rewording some reasons. And I AM ENDING THIS DISCUSSION. At least, on this thread. Check the suggestion board and discuss it there; I don't want a flame war over my character on this thread.

lol. Eventually yea.
But yea, I think it should be positioned under Duck Hunt Dog's hand since it seems to be the only empty space on the picture

Wow, not only did Doc do a 180, he now TRASH-TALKED.
And to believe he wanted him in at first and was going to include him in HIS game when he "left" Crusade.
Also, I grew tired of having only 1 Dev's opinion, so I sent both Phantom and Doc a message about Agumon.
I do not expect it to end well.

3 characters axed and shut down, now one and only hope left.
I cant imagine how active this thread will be within the next 24 hours

Could the reason for him acting like this be a threat? Actually, we still have ratchet, but I don't believe he has much of a chance, cos of DMX. DMX doesn't really seem like he'd be fond of him being in

I've disproved every reason they say he shouldn't be in with undeniable evidence, whether or not they actually pay attention to it. If they just continue to ignore my side of the argument and not come up with any new reasons he can't be in, then that sucks for them, because they're going to lose a lot of respect. Not only that, I've got until v3.0 to get the Minister in.

And really the roster itself is bound to change, especially with the length of how long development for this game will take before we finally have the full version. So, I think there is still a chance for any character in general. As for that last statement, it was sarcasm ;D
