This is the thread for Alliance Members.
So far, status on our characters:
Agumon/Greymon: Only Falcon talked about them so far, and he really likes the idea.
Ancient Minister: Phantom and DRMARIOX (who apparently changed his mind on the issue) say no despite EVERYONE else wanting him in. He's not entirely dead yet, though.
Laughing Dog: Dead. All Developers said he will for sure not be in...
NiGHTS: Dead. It was said that NiGHTS would not be included in the roster. If it's any consolation, Aero is dead too.
Ratchet and Clank: Unknown; Not much was said by the Developers.
Should we have two characters each? If so, I call dibs on Mike Haggar being my second. (Sorry Maiz)

Ancient Minister info:
DMX and Falcon want him to be in, Werekill said he wouldn't mind if the sprites were better. Phantom seems to abhor the idea of his inclusion. I'm still trying to persuade him, but he doesn't seem to be pay any attention to the fact that I've brought the topic back up with good reason.
Oh yeah, and I think it should only be one character per member.

Me? Wanting Ancient Minister? No, no. I agree with Phantom on that.
Ratchet? I think him NEVER (ever) appearing on a Nintendo Console hurts his representation. NiGHTS and Aero are both dead right now, I can assure you that.

I remember you saying you wanted the Minister to be in while I was still working on him.
And he was on the roster for Maul.
What changed your mind?
Also, sort of unrelated, could you give him a grade on the minister thread? I'm trying to see what all the devs think.
And PLEASE persuade Phantom to participate. It seems like he's just ignoring me at this point whenever I bring up the topic.

His Representaion is pretty bad, yeah. I would never see him in as a regular character.

Did you see the reviews I collected? The Subspace Emissary has gotten great reviews. If Phantom doesn't want a rep from Smash Bros, he's from Subspace Emissary then. And if he says that SSE was gimmicky and not a good game, there's proof against that.
He could at least follow up on the topic. I mean, seriously? You don't like the most popular character idea on the forum so you just ignore it and use it as an example of a character that will never get in. He himself said that the minister's representation was the only problem. I gave him multiple reviews that said that it wasn't. And that was over a week ago.

Didnt know a thread was made. Should have PM'd the information. Actually, I havent decided on a 2nd character, but I think we should just stick with the one character. I think we would just be over-doing it if we each had two characters per member.
Agumon - have you tried to reaching other dev. on their thoughts on him other than falcon?
Ancient Minister - out of all 5, he seems to be the most favorite to get in.
Duck Hunt Dog - Well, he wont be on the main roster and sounds like he will just be in the background of the Duck Hunt stage. Wonder what are his chances of expansion?
Nights - Just when it went down between Aero & Nights, neither one of them will be in at all. Though Nights had a better chance in my opinion.
Ratchet & Clank - Try and see if you can get a dev. opinion

Falcon liked the moveset and character idea, and Phantom implied that he didn't have much of a chance.

I don't care what Phantom says- The Ancient Minister has to be one of the highest requested characters for SSBC. Zoom in a bit: And a little more: That's a rather large 180, if I do say so myself. |
