Interesting things I found: There's no minimum time between when you can grab the ledge after letting go, so you can theoretically be invincible forever. By releasing the ledge, grabbing it, and performing your dash attack all in one quick chain, you can perform a "special" edge recovery, that seems to be unique to each character. Krystal's makes her invincible and moves her a large distance, but the attack will do no damage, Jigglypuff's keeps her on the edge of the stage and provides invincibility without doing damage, Lucario's seems to just be his dash attack (still invincible and does no damage) and I can't get Fox's to work.

The ledge part is probably just something they didn't think to put in. The dash attack part is really odd, though.

UPDATE: Apparently, you can use a grab instead of a dash attack. You will instantaneously climb onto the stage and perform a grab, skipping the whole "getting onto the ledge" animation.

I think DaW found that.

Oh boy, more bug fixes for me to do! We might have to delay 1.0 at this rate!

Well, it's better to have a bug-free 1.0 a bit later than expected than have it full of bugs and require a re-release. And how can you delay something that doesn't have a release date yet?

I have an idea - allow the character to be invincible during only the first edge grab!

I have an idea - allow the character to be invincible during only the first edge grab! Thats an AWFUL idea. The best thing you can do is fix the Ledges itself xD( you can regrab them cause a glitch. if you push yourself to the edge you will cancel every animation you have (loook at my ledge glitch topic))

The topic is that you can simply "plank" really easily and remain invincible for a long time on the edges.

This video is a proof that the ledges are broken, because you cant be hiited on any ways, the ebst thing you can do is fix the ledges itself.

I have no problems with this fix. I don't edge-guard often in the first place, so it makes no difference. However, you will have to fix the other half of the glitch.

I say, invincibility on one ledge grab until you stand on the stage again or are hit.

YES. It's really disconcerting trying to edge guard and having your opponent warp to the edge. Melee's was small, Brawl's was a bit more lenient, but Crusade's is a bit too large for me. Obviously just my opinion, though XD

I also think the ledge sweet-spot area is too big. It should be shortened a little.

Okay, I can make it a bit smaller. I thought so.
