Er....no. Rare has no hatred towards Nintendo. What happened was that Microsoft bought out Rare from the Stamper brothers, so Nintendo gave Microsoft their share of the company, so that they wouldn't be working together. The Stamper brothers owned 51% while Nintendo owned 49%. Now Microsoft owns all 100%.

I can see why Master Chief would be a better console rep, but I am totally biased for Ratchet. I am not going to deny it. The other thing is that MC would be much more at home in a more traditional fighting game, but when you're always up in the air and constantly jumping, I just can't see him as easily as Ratchet.

One thing I get a lot when I suggest him is: "Why not Master Chief" or "Master Chief would be better". I don't really get that. Halo may be more popular, but the games are more inappropriate than the Ratchet and Clank ones. Not only that, but Ratchet is more iconic and has WAY more uniqueness and moveset potential. As far as I'm aware, Master Chief also has firearms, but most of them are just shooting things. Yes, there are some claw things or something, but Ratchet & Clank has had WAY more unique weapons. I have never seen Master Chief punch a hole in the wall with a glove, suck up small frog things and shoot them at each other, or turn foes into common farm animals. "More inappropriate"? Halo is as inappropriate as Metal Gear, maybe even less, and Snake's in Brawl. And we're getting a Mortal Kombat representative, and that game is WAY more inappropriate than Halo. Also Morrigan. As for weapons, sure MC doesn't have the unique weapons that Ratchet has, but his weapons are more than just guns. He has Plasma Swords, various types of Grenades and the like. And MC doesn't NEED a glove to punch a hole in the wall; he can punch the hole in with his fist. And MC's weapons would be easier to impliment. Sucking up frogs and turning people into farm animals doesn't exactly scream "EASY TO IMPLIMENT!"... But still, I wouldn't mind a tag-team of Ratchet and Clank. That would be better, IMO. And to answer why MC would be better; Halo is more well known than Ratchet and Clank, and actually has a cancelled DS project. So it WOULD'VE been on an Nintendo system had it not been canned. The only reason Snake is even eligible is because Metal Gear was originally on a Nintendo console. Which still doesn't apply to Ratchet and Clank who isn't, cancelled project or not.

Halo was the one with the cancelled project. I think you may have misread.
And Daw, Dr. Mariox gave him a bad grade with under researched information for Representation, and seemed to think he'd be a clone of Fox.
Falcon likes it
Phantom hasn't replied.

Update to the moveset, as I wanted to represent more of the unique weapons. I changed it so that B brings out the Blitz Gun, and if you tap B again before it fires, he pulls out the Deadeye Mine, and if you tap B AGAIN before THAT fires, he pulls out the Alpha Disruptor. Similar mechanic to Side B. The Alpha Disruptor and Megarocket Cannon are almost on par with weaker FSs, but they take a really, really long time to come out.
Also added his throws.

The whole weapon switching by pressing buttons is too confusing, IMO.

I suppose. I just think that it'd be interesting to give him a unique way of using specials.

Greatly changed his Ratchet moveset, trying to use more specials from Going Mobile, and using smash B and a few others to use more of his weapons.

I coulda SWORN I put it there. Sorry.
And look at how Dr. Mariox decided to vote "No" due to his blatant lies he sent me by PM and still doesn't seem to realize that he's wrong.

I say No, but I can't vote on the poll frim my iPod.
Really, it would just make this a general fan game instead of an awesome, nintendo-based platform fighting game. Ratchet and Clank have absolutely no relation to Nintendo, so I say no.
Same goes for Master Chief.

Just to be clear, I'm not suggesting him for the regular roster; if anything he'd be DLC.

At the same time we have Goku, who despite appearing on Nintendo systems, is a character of non-video game origin.
