I'm thinking of getting an arcade stick, for the various fighting games I play, but I'm not sure where i can try one out. Anyone know somewhere I could try it out to see if I could get used to it?

I have one! I should post pics. :3
Anyway, I have no idea where you could try one other than an arcade, and those are usually american parts/bat tops instead of the amazing Sanwa parts and ball tops.

I think I' prefer a bat top, but those seem scarce. Similar to arcades here in Texas.
If I can't find a good one that's around $30, I may just get one of the Madcatz Fightpads. And paint the faceplate vivid yellow. Which I'm going to do whatever I get. Yellow is cool.
EDIT:
After looking around on Ebay, I found the normally $150 Madcatz TE fightstick. For ten bucks.
Sadly, it's an auction. With two days left, I'll wait to see what happens.

There are four of them.
While they are used, seems like a good deal.

It's a very good deal!
Just make sure to customize the art when you get it. :3

I may not get it. It's an auction, so it's whether anyone else'll bid.

I've decided to buy a wireless combat stick for PS2, which isn't the highest quality, but it's good enough for me.
I'm going to save up over the rest of the year to get one of them "Hitboxes".

What the hell is a hitbox? Just get a Madcatz SE and mod the parts. That's exactly what I did, and it's perfect. Edit: Here's pics. :3

Looks cool!
A hitbox is a joystick with buttons instead of an actual stick.

Eh... I googled it. It seems like an ok idea, but I love mah stick.

One thing that'd seem great about them is using them for Charge characters. Instead of wrenching the stick back and forth to do a Sonic Hurricane, you just hold one button, and tap three more.
EDIT:
My package arrived in the mail about half an hour ago. It's broken. I have to mash a button quite hard for it to register, one button doesn't work at all, joystick is unresponsive.
I can't return it. I have no clue as to what to do.

Ugh, sorry man. What brand is it, and how much did you spend?

I think it was PDP, and it was ten dollars.
Maybe that "Ebay Buyer Protection" thing'll help.
You can get a refund in it isn't as described, and it was described to work fine.

Just Google "Arcade Sticks" and found this. It remind me of the SNES Controller.

I'm not a fan of Arcade sticks, as it turns out.
Maybe I'll get a fightpad for $20.
