I don't really use neither of them. I do it the old fashion way: just punches and kicks.

I use the 'Nado in the air to jump-in because of how long it lasts, and as a spike. FLUDD was never really my favorite... We could see about putting it in, given the popularity of Young Link's Deku Leaf and the similarities there.

Fludd is one of the best edgegaurds in the game, and it helped in horizontal recovery. A lot.

He uses hover fludd, and it goes down all the way to the bottom.

I just think that the Tornado made a good Dair.

I'm saying that the Tornado would make a better Dair than the Fludd, which would make a better downspecial.

All the way to the bottom? Dude.... That's awesome. That actually sounds like a Down Special.
Here's the deal: it could be like Deku Leaf. In the air, it makes Mario use the Hover Nozzle to help with recovery. On the ground, it sprays water. Eh?

I totally agree with Generic. I like Mario as he is now. In my case I would prefer F.L.U.D.D. more as an item than as a move since you can do 4 different things with F.L.U.D.D.: - Spray Water - Hover - Dash - Jump VERY high.

That'd be an interesting way to incorporate it.

I'd like that way best. Plus, it'd give us our first original item.

True that! Great idea... But just how would we do the different actions? Direction + A while holding it?

Sounds good to me. Cept the Hover should just be jump and hold the jump button.

True that! Great idea... But just how would we do the different actions? Direction + A while holding it? I was thinking more or less like this: To jump very high you would need to hold A + up for a little bit. To dash you would need to hold A + left or right and to stop dashing you just let go the buttons. To spray water you would to press A + down. (Not holding this time because if you could hold for spraying water you would easily push the characters out of the stage for many seconds and easily kill them like Kyogre in Brawl) The spray of water would be more or less like the one Mario shoots out in Brawl when fully charged. And to hover what Sumika said. Also I was thinking each different move with F.L.U.D.D. would decrease the amount of water inside F.L.U.D.D. in different proportions like: Jump very high: 20% per jump. (5 times max) Spray water: 10% or 12.5% per shot. (10 or 8 times max) Hover and dashing: 5% per second or maybe a little less. (20 seconds max) And you would be limited of using your smash moves until you take out F.L.U.D.D.

Ugh... all right. Sounds doable, but I think I'll consult the other devs. Honestly, FLUDD ought to be somewhere in the game, so this is the best way.
