I do miss the F.L.U.D.D. It was much more fun than the tornado.

I think his down special should be kept as the tornado, and fludd should be his down aerial. Seriously, a lot of people hated the fludd. In melee, it was the tornado.

The tornado is the same as Luigi's. The fludd was creative and useful.

Luigi's tornado was different in Melee. It could rise up more easily, and go to the sides more easily, but would only hit once for knockback. And how do you think Fludd was useful?

Edgegaurding. It was amazing at that. It helped a lot in recovery, too.

I have to admit that Mario is still a pretty good All-Around smasher. I hardly see any flaws for him. He's perfect for any types of battle modes.

I dislike Mario in this game. Also, here's something that I wrote on old forums.
Third jab shouldn't have smaller range than first two.

I think that Mario suffers from the same flaw in Brawl.
He isn't good at anything. He's average at everything, and that's a huge weakness.

I wouldn't consider that a huge weakness. It's not like he's an easy character to get knocked out or something. He's just an all-around character that's all. Basically, he's the middle man. Plus, some people don't have problems with him at all. In fact, most people use Mario first when they first played.

I found a good way to fix this without editing any hitboxes or sprites. Like Luigi, Mario should move forward slightly just before the third part of his jab. And about Mario being the middle man - I now main Mario because of this. He may not be excellent at projectiles/zoning, powerful hits, or edgeguards, but he is pretty good at all of them in some ways. This allows him to change his style to better suit his opponent pretty easily. Of course, his range may appear to be a bit short sometimes, but his Side Smash and Forward Tilt lend to great spacing, and Super Jump Punch also has deceptive range for punishing jump-ins. But anyway, some people don't like Mario, but he does take practice to play really well, so I can understand. You get out of him what you put in.

A great balanced character is also a great character as a main.

Why don't we get Fludd?

Now that's a good question that I've been wondering to ask for quite some time. Is Fludd necessary for Mario (despite of its appearance in SSBB)?

I loved the Fludd. It was creative, unlike the overused Tornado.
