I bet they wouldn't be against banning pictures from the internet too. Those people in there don't think when they come up with laws. They don't care about society- they just want to be in the higher ranks of politics.
Banning Video Game clips from the internet? Here's what I think:
Is the person watching the video of let's say Portal 2 (example) actually playing it? No, but the video may more than likely make them want to buy the game. This is good for Video Game companies. There are some cases it may not be good for them (examples would be leaks and spoilers before a game is released), but this can be avoided and Video Game companies need to be more careful about hiding game development.

It's very vague about "Performance of the product".
Does that mean you can go to jail if you take a picture of someone taking a picture of you?
