We don't need a bunch of random Pokémon playable.
They already have an item dedicated to Pokémon who aren't playable.
IF a Pokémon is playable, it should be popular, and/or have some importance to Pokémon as a whole.
Examples:
- Pikachu
Main face of Pokémon. Basically required if a Pokémon should be playable.
- Jigglypuff
I really don't know why she is in. I guess cause she was funny in the anime...?
- Mewtwo
Movie dedicated to him, probably one of the most popular legendaries.
- Lucario
Most notable Pokémon in 4th gen, starred in a movie.
And on and on.
Typhlosion? Yes, he is very popular (overused, IMO), but that's just about it. Every other character (except Jiggly) has a bit more than that. I'd rather have Meowth over Typhlosion.
