So. I just downloaded bought GS:DD and I have to say, it's pretty bad ass. I'm just a bit past getting to the mountain I cant remember the name of, and I have to say... I'm officially addicted to the game. It's like a turn based JRPG that's actually... -gasp- AMAZING. After DD I'm gonna play the other 2... or 3..? I dont know.

One thing about collecting all the djinn is that you can always go back for them. This is not true in Dark Dawn however, and I ended up having to kill Dullahan with missing 9 djinn. DON'T MISS THEM IN DARK DAWN!

Do not miss the first djinni. I'm stressing you because there's something call PNR which means the point of no return, so if you ever need the guidebook to assist you, I can always send you a copy. And PHHP, I am sorry to hear that. I happen to have all djinns when I battle Dullahan, but it turns out to be a hard match nevertheless.
@prodaw You know, I have the DS rom on my computer. If you need it, I can pm you, but I won't discuss about it any further.
@nights It's great to see another GS fan. I highly suggest that you get familiar with the GS 1 and 2 storyline, so that it won't be a whole mass of confusion when you get to the main plot line of GSDD.

I usually spend about an hour on checking if I can get a Djinni. If I cant, I make sure after I get something that lets me do something new, I go back and try to get it again. I dont think I've missed a single one yet.

Oh, that's good to hear then because it will really suck if you miss one since they are very significant when it comes to party stat boosts.

Ay, the second desert is rather difficult. I've taken all the routes at hand: Going to Crossbow Island (failed to get through a certain level because of the mindcraze), fighting the Tempest Lizard (died), and getting through the other part (too lazy to kill the lizard, lol). Considering stats, everybody is level 25, except for Isaac who is 26. Any idea on how to take off the demon axe? I can't drop it..

In order to take off the demon axe, go to a healer and press remove curse. The cursed item will be unequipped and stay in your inventory. Do not equip cursed items yet until you have the cleric ring.

Sure, no problem! I mean, it's very careful that the player knows the information before the player decides whether or not a cursed item should be equipped. But, once you have the cleric ring, the cursed item's effect will be negated by the cleric ring; therefore, your character won't be cursed in battle. However, the character still won't be able to unequip the item, so make sure you choose the right cursed item!
In fact, I will show you a short video of my itemset in a bit!

Funny story actually. I went to the final level in Dark Dawn with the muramasa equipped to Matthew. Then I had to fight the final boss without using the best weapon in the game.

Lol, what's also funny is that Muramasa gives a bonus to fire adepts, but Matthew isn't even a fire adept! xD of course, you can still beat the boss even without the best weapon in game, which is Sol Blade for him I assume. However, Excalibur is also one of the strongest weapons in game. I'm pretty sure, you can't craft that yet unless you have Sol Blade to unlock a dungeon that allows you to acquire Orihalcon. But anyways, you won the battle right?
Edit: Here's my video of my party's equip sets:

Daw, you get the Demon Axe in Crossbow Isle. However, as seen in the video, you should have a cleric ring to make sure that you can free yourself of the curse. Because, although it may be powerful, occasionally it may freeze your character, preventing them from attacking that turn.
Also, is it bad that I have Isaac with a Swift Sword? I don't really have much else to give him, aside from a mystery blade which is equipped to Garet. EDIT: Actually, Imma list my equpiment I have right now.
Isaac: Elven Shirt Earth Shield Quick Boots Warrior's Helm Assassin's Blade
Garet: Spirit Gloves Mystery Blade Ninja Garb Ninja Hood
Mia: Frost Wand Cocktail Dress Mythril Circlet Virtuous Armlet
Ivan: Vambrace Storm Gear Swift Sword

Well, it depends. Have you been to the Sashasharaearu desert or whatever(2nd desert), yet? At a certain point, you can use reveal there to find a wooden pole. Jump across that, and over through the cave, and you should find a big, pink tornado. Go into there and do not use douse. You'll be in crossbow Isle. You can go down through the many stairs for great EXP, but I reccomend not going to Deadbeard yet. At least that's my opinion.

If you're talking about Suhalla Desert, then DGN is correct. Typically, you'll bump into a giant pink tornado. Go ahead and get sucked into it, but like DGN said, do not use DOUSE. Within a matter of seconds, the tornado will teleport you to an uncharted island which is Crossbone Isle. Now I suggest that you should complete the entire Crossbone Isle puzzle before you encounter Deadbeard because there are a lot more better items than just Demon Axe. The Wicked Mace has possibly the same stats as the Demon Axe which can also be found at Crossbone Isle. Well, I'll let you decide which one to pick by exploring there, so I wish you good luck! Also, you're strong enough to fight Deadbeard. In fact, you'll gain a couple of levels before you even fight him since there will be mini bosses (I believe there's 7 mini party bosses).
